🎉 You’re invited to celebrate the official launch of Uniquely You Central Alabama, a magazine dedicated to celebrating the achievements, resilience, and stories of individuals with disabilities while connecting families with trusted local resources. These events were designed to feel more like a community festival than a traditional ribbon cutting, and we would love for you to be part of this exciting milestone! 🌟

After the official Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, guests will have the opportunity to meet the inspiring Cover Heroes featured on the covers of Uniquely You, enjoy live entertainment from talented performers in our local disability community, visit our Preferred Partner Expo, connect with local leaders and advocates, and celebrate a movement built on hope, inclusion, and opportunity. There will also be fun activities, delicious treats, and an ice cream truck!

Meet Dottie! This one-year-old golden retriever loves lake days, beach trips, playing fetch, and keeping her nightly treat routine on schedule.

Dottie recently took on her biggest role yet - becoming a proud big sister! Congratulations to Tommy and Carolyn Trott on their growing family!

Out and about in Moore's Mill!

Faith, family, sports, and the outdoors keep life moving for the Sheppard family—and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Matt and Lee Sheppard, along with sons Banks, Reynolds, and Newton, recently made Moore’s Mill home and have quickly fallen in love with the community. Between youth sports, hunting trips, Auburn athletics, family travel, and time spent with neighbors, there is rarely a dull moment for this active family.

Whether cheering from the sidelines, spending time at Lake Martin, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying all that Auburn has to offer, the Sheppards are building lasting memories together while embracing everything that makes Moore’s Mill such a special place to call home. We're grateful to Matt and Lee for sharing their story and allowing us to introduce their family to the neighborhood!

Seven-year-old Jack Lesh is a second-grader at Dean Road Elementary and the son of Charlie and Allie Lesh. He enjoys math, especially learning to tell time, and loves staying active through Auburn Parks and Recreation sports.

Football is Jack's favorite sport, and he dreams of one day playing for the Auburn Tigers. He also enjoys performing with Auburn Community Theatre and plans to sell lemonade with his brother, Graham, this summer.

From sports to the stage, Jack brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does!

Baseball has been part of Wilson Foster’s story since he first stepped onto the field at age five. From Auburn Parks & Rec T-ball to Auburn High School baseball and elite travel teams, Wilson’s journey has been built on dedication, discipline, and family tradition. A versatile middle infielder and outfielder, he has earned recognition through PBR and Perfect Game while competing alongside some of Alabama’s top players.

Off the field, Wilson credits his family for shaping both his character and love for the game. This fall, he’ll continue his baseball and academic career at Chattahoochee Valley Community College on a full athletic scholarship. STROLL Moore’s Mill is proud to celebrate this hardworking young athlete!
