Our Story

To keep with the ideals of today’s rock we play new music from many rock sub-genres and movements that influence the following of the Station’s community, as well as many specialty shows! These specialty shows are live podcasts written and produced by our students; formats and subjects are only limited by the hosts’ creativity (and the Green River College Code of Conduct).

KGRG is operated by the students of Green River College. The broadcasting program offers real-world experience and hands-on job training to students looking to break into the broadcasting and entertainment industries. Graduates of the program can go on to be podcasters, sound designers/production specialists, YouTubers, streamers, DJs, you name it! The courses offered are designed to train students with transferable skills to wherever their career may take them.

Overall the listeners make the difference! By going to kgrg.com/donate, your support will guarantee the future of our station by allowing us to maintain and improve our equipment, organise concerts and events, and continue educating students for years to come! ...And we love requests.
