Purrfect Foster Cats

I know everyone is anxious to hear an update on our newest kitties at Community Cat Connection - the ones who were sadly dumped at our facility on Saturday morning🙁

The little kitten, named Sapphire, has some type of eye/upper respiratory infection and is being treated with appropriate meds. He feels “better” but still not good by any means. We know in time he will be back to being a crazy kitten!! He is well enough to nurse and play around with his mama, Pearl❤️‍🩹.

Both Pearl and dad, Moonstone, are on their way to a full recovery! They will receive appropriate medicine for their care as well so that all 3 can be happy and healthy! 🐈❤️‍🩹

Thank you to everyone that rallied behind our organization and helped to donate food, supplies, and general donations to help these babies (and the 88 others we currently have in our care)! 🩷💙🩵❤️ I’ll include a donation link through Facebook again if anyone is interested, but will also share our website below!

This morning started out normal- I took care of all the kitties, ran some errands….and then I got an urgent call from our volunteers at Community Cat Connection - someone had dumped 3 VERY SICK KITTIES AT THE SHELTER! These cats -2 adults and one baby- were COVERED IN URINE and clearly very sick…especially the baby. All will be checked out by our medical team today. ❤️‍🩹

I am disheartened that even with all the resources we and other shelters offer, that the individual who dumped these cats did not call us or talk to us, even once, to ask for help. She parked around the corner so that her car was out of view of the shelter camera and left her sunglasses on the whole time so that she wouldn’t be recognized. It was very clear based on all of her actions that this was intentional and calculated, and that these animals were severely neglected.

While I am glad that these cats were brought to a safe place, these cats clearly suffered greatly and are in rough shape. They will be loved and taken care of by us and eventually when they are healthy will go to the best homes! ❤️🐈

Making some progress with these cute (but still shy!) babies! 🐾🐈😻

They are going to make AMAZING pets when they are clear for adoption! The best part of fostering is all the kitty cuddles!🥰

These babies are starting to (sort of) like me 🤣 or at least tolerate me for playtime 🧶🐾🩷

Cricket is sweet as always and is the best mom to them 🐾😻

After what felt like a LONG 1.5 month hiatus, I am back with some cute fosters!😻🐾

We have sweet mama, Cricket🦗 , along with her sweet babies, Dill 🥒and Nova💫! The last one of this group is not related to any of these kitties, but is already behaving like their cute little sister, Fern 🌿!

Mom is SO sweet, but those three babies are little scaredy-cats and I have to force them to love me for now🤣 can’t wait to see how sweet and loving they become!❤️🐾😻🐈‍⬛🐈

***Note these babies are NOT available for adoption yet and are not able to be put on deposit until they are medically cleared by our team!

Poor Howie has had a ROUGH start to life💔 she was used as target practice by an evil person😡

With the help of some great vets and lots of love from her foster mom, she has overcome a lot and despite everything is such a sweet, sweet girl!❤️‍🩹🐾 you can read about her story below!

Kitten season is back (and never really ended…) and these three premature babies were born to a mom who was still a kitten herself on Wednesday😢

Mom would not feed them so an amazing Foster took over their care… but unfortunately, their little bodies were too under developed to survive 💔

I share this not to make people sad, but to show how important it is to spay and neuter our pets and community cats, as this suffering could have been prevented😢. Please spay or neuter a cat in your community in their honor, or reach out to me to sponsor one at Community Cat Connection! We have gotten 72 cats (and counting!) fixed so far this year alone!
