Hey Blooming Besties-
I’ve been MIA as I had the cubital tunnel and the carpal tunnel released in both of my elbows and both of my wrists two weeks ago, and then had a cervical fusion last week. I’m still in a soft collar and was instructed to not bend over until my follow up. So things kind of just sit on the ground until someone comes home to help.

P.S. I do have a grabber but my wrist and elbow strength isn’t fully back, so it really doesn’t help. 🤣

Ok we are SO excited for this. Clearly we’re extremely late to the game but you know what they say! Better later than never šŸ˜Ž Peep my sweet toddler in the background asking his daddy if he needed help in the garage.

I’m not ready to discuss what all has happened yet regarding the divorce yesterday and the custody ruling today, but I will soon. Taking some time to process my thoughts first so I can speak soundly on the matter. Anyways, yall know my new saying, and it couldn’t be more true & necessary than it is during this season. Say it with me- No matter what happens… bloom anyway. 🌸🩷

I got divorced today. After an excruciatingly long, 670 day wait. I am divorced. I have both so many words to say, and none at all. So many lies were spewed in that court room today. So much anger and hatred filled the already-stiff air. It was a very tough few hours. I am mentally and emotionally drained.

I do plan to take time another day soon to discuss this in more detail. I am also waiting on the judge to make her custody ruling, so I will know more in a few days. For now, I owe my body and mind some rest.

So, I’ll leave you with this: upon coming home from school, my soon to be 6 year old bonus son walks right up to me and said ā€œHere you go, Tora (he’s still working on ā€œcoraā€) this is for you.ā€ At first, I saw that it was pink and black. He knows my favorite color is pink so he’s always gifting me pink things. I thought wow, that’s sweet and thanked him. As he walked away, I turned it over… ā€œRise aboveā€, it reads. I instantly got chills. God was watching over me today and used this little pink bracelet to speak to me through my bonus son. Rise above. My family and I, and God know the truth, and that is what matters. Truth prevails, and love always wins.

Remember, no matter what happens…bloom anyway, Besties. 🌸🩷
