We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We’ve been enjoying the Florida warmth after escaping the cold of Nebraska. Our dudes miss the winter weather though!

We’ve been quite busy since Chip’s birthday in September, catch up posts on the way…. Tonight we saw our current rv park light up their Christmas trees or should we say palm trees… hint we aren’t in Nebraska anymore!

Finishing our last week as volunteers at with a hike to the Buffalo Bridge on Monday. It’s been almost 3 months in Valentine, NE and we really enjoyed the Sandhills plus the cooler weather it’s offered. Not missing the Texas heat! Not done with Nebraska just yet…

Lazy weekend with on and off rain here in Valentine, Nebraska. Both doodles last night curled up on the sofa until Chip decided it was bedtime and took matters and the blanket into his own hands. Chip managed to get into bed with his blanket on his own - that was not staged.

Lots has happened since we last posted from Chicago. We upgraded to a 5th wheel, celebrated 4th of July, traveled a few more states on the way back to Nebraska. We also visited Smith Falls State Park and Ashfall Fossil Beds (Fossil beds were super cool!) Most recently we floated the Niobrara River. The summer of all of the adventures continues…
