A research team at the Yale School of Medicine, found that human milk contains a sugar molecule, called myo-inositol, that was present in every sample of milk they tested. myo-inositol appears to boost neuronal synapse abundance and enhances neuronal connectivity. It is a brain builder. It also appears to be dose-dependant, meaning that the more human milk, the more brain building activity. So keep on keeping on, feed human babies human milk!
