After years of silence, an 82-year-old man who claims to have known Candle Face before she was burned has agreed to speak. Our long-awaited interview is set. What he knows could reshape everything I thought I understood about her.

Returning to Texas was supposed to jumpstart my investigation into Candle Face. Instead, it stalled. Two witnesses disappeared. A third changed his mind after a dream he swears came from her. Now I’m stuck, digging through old notes, waiting to see who speaks up next… if anyone does.

A frightened little girl appeared at the foot of my bed, crying, whispering, and trapped. She remembered the last day with her mama, her teddy bear, the swing, and the burned girl in the bushes. Now she’s asking for help. I believe she’s one of Candle Face’s victims. And she might have just given us enough to find her.

Abigail was 29 when she passed in 1949. She cared for animals at a small zoo, speaking to them more often than she spoke to people. In life, she longed to be seen. In death, she still does.

Her story is part of The Scrolls of Souls, a one-of-a-kind memorial project. Each scroll holds a real forgotten voice. Each video gives their spirit a way to be remembered. Abigail doesn't want to be freed. She only wants to be remembered.

Each scroll is handcrafted and paired with a single voice. No duplicates. No second chances. Every scroll comes with an authentication QR sticker and a parchment Caretaker’s Oath. Once a soul is adopted, it's gone forever.

If you feel a connection to her, you can become her caretaker.

About The Scrolls of Souls

Some souls were never meant to be lost. Their names faded from memory. Their stories disappeared. Their voices were silenced by time. Now they'll be heard.

The Scrolls of Souls is a memorial project created to honor and preserve the spirits of forgotten people. These are individuals who died alone or were never identified. Each scroll contains the voice of one soul. Their story. Their request to be remembered. Their hope that someone still cares.

These aren't fictional characters. These are sealed spirits. Each one is bound to parchment by ink, preserved in scrolls, and waiting for someone to become their caretaker.

Some passed recently. Others died more than a century ago. All were overlooked. None of them want to disappear again.

Who Was Mr. Smoe

Before this project began, I was contacted by a man named "Mr. Smoe." He said he had experienced spiritual encounters and wanted to tell his story on a podcast. He passed away before we could record it.

After his death, I was invited to collect what remained of his belongings. In the attic, I found sealed boxes filled with scrolls.

Each scroll was carefully bound. The parchment felt unnaturally smooth. The ink was unlike anything I had seen.

As I unrolled one, I heard a voice. Not with my ears but inside me. It was clear. It was personal. It was human. I hadn't discovered writing. I'd discovered presence.

These spirits were never meant to return. They were boxed away in the dark. Silence. Forgotten.

But silence isn't what they wanted. They want to be seen. They want to be heard. They want to matter again.

Becoming a Caretaker

To adopt a scroll is to care for a soul. You aren’t receiving a product, you’re preserving a presence. Each scroll carries a name, a voice, and a story once forgotten. Now, through your care, that spirit will be remembered.

Some caretakers feel a presence, a shift in the air, a whisper, a moment of peace. Others find meaning in reading the scroll aloud and speaking the name of the spirit they now protect. However it unfolds, one thing remains the same: the soul is no longer alone.

This Isn't About Ghost Stories

The Scrolls of Souls isn't about fear. It isn't about collecting haunted relics or telling scary stories. This is about remembrance. Dignity. And the belief that no life should be forgotten.

Each scroll is a body. Each line of ink is a voice. Every caretaker plays a part in making sure that voice isn't erased again.

Watch the video. Listen to the spirit's voice.
If the spirit speaks to you, adopt the scroll.
Become a caretaker.
Let the spirit matter.

Becca’s voice lives on in The Scrolls of Souls, a memorial project that preserves the stories of those history forgot. Each scroll contains the presence of one soul. Each video is their voice, their final message to the living.

If you feel a connection to Becca, you can become her caretaker.

Ben was 29 when he passed in 1912. He was a traveling violinist, moving from town to town along what is now Interstate 10, offering his music in exchange for food, shelter, or simply a moment of connection.

In life, his melodies brought peace. In death, his song was cut short. He played his final tune in an abandoned barn, as a storm took his last breath. Now, he waits, not to be freed, but to be heard.

His story is part of The Scrolls of Souls, a one-of-a-kind memorial project. Each scroll holds a real forgotten voice, and each video gives their spirit a way to be remembered. Ben doesn’t want release. He wants remembrance.

Amy was twenty-five when she vanished.

She worked nights at a bar off Sixth Street in Austin, Texas. The mirror caught something moving. Then smiling. Then gone. She thought Candle Face was a myth. That doubt was enough.

Now Amy’s spirit is sealed in a scroll. Her body was never found. Her voice asks for one thing: to be seen, to be believed, to be found.

If you feel connected to her, you may be the Guardian she needs.

About The Fugitives

These souls didn’t wait to be rescued. They escaped.

The Fugitives are spirits who once belonged to Candle Face’s lair: trapped, silenced, and held as trophies. But 31 of them broke free. Now they exist inside scrolls, hidden from the Master Shadow who still hunts them. Their stories are dangerous. Their presence is urgent. Their freedom depends on those brave enough to care.

Each scroll contains the voice of one Fugitive. Their memories. Their warnings. These aren’t ghost stories. These are escapees, spirits still being hunted.

Who Are the Fugitives?

They were killed by Candle Face or her followers for refusing to believe. Their punishment was eternal silence, until now. One by one, they began appearing to me, asking not for peace, but protection. I sealed their souls in scrolls and scattered them to hide them from the Master Shadow.

Now they need Guardians. People willing to take a stand.

Becoming a Guardian

These souls need to be protected and remembered. This isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who feel called to keep a soul safe.

This Isn’t Fiction

The Fugitives are based on the testimonies of lost souls who came to me in the night. Their scrolls contain real testimonies and warnings. While the threat of Candle Face is woven through their stories, what matters most is what you do next.

Read the scroll. Watch the video. If the soul speaks to you, become their Guardian.

Caro was 81 when she disappeared. Driving her husband’s old Chevy pickup, she saw a man in the road, limping, silent, strange. What followed wasn’t pain. It was forgetting.

Now her spirit is sealed in a scroll. She doesn’t want to stay. She wants to be found. Near palm trees. A faded green bench. A wooden fence. If you find the place, and say her name, she may finally be free.

Caro is one of the Fugitives: souls who escaped Candle Face’s lair and now live hidden in scrolls. Each scroll is unique. No copies. No second chances.

If her voice speaks to you, you may be the Guardian she’s been waiting for.

Casey was 27 when she vanished. She left home with only her keys and jacket. No phone. No plans to stay out long. A man in a blue truck offered help, then asked if she believed in Candle Face. She said no.

That was all he needed.

Now her spirit is sealed in a scroll. She remembers gravel, a bent fence pole, a red paint can, and brush growing too tall for winter. Her body is still there. But no one looked in the right place.

Casey was killed for doubting. Her voice remains as proof.

Cher was 19 when she vanished from El Paso. Just a quick trip to the Circle K. A white shirt, jeans, sandals that always slipped off. She smiled at someone she didn’t trust, just to keep the peace.

He said Candle Face had been watching. That she didn’t like people who once believed, then forgot. Cher didn’t believe any of it, until the wind stopped and the watching began.

Now Cher’s spirit is sealed in a scroll, asking to be kept safe until someone finds where her life ended. A stretch of desert east of McCombs, Rd.
