I come up with this idea. I might need to get one more bungy cord for the center. The span is too far for the shorter poles. I think this will hold up the bumpy rides in the future. If you don’t have fishing poles I was thinking you could use like a cargo net to store things. I’m probably gonna want to add a shelf here for better organizing.

Here is a hack I put taps on my low point water drains and can use hot or cold water from them for example fill a dish pan to wash dishes outside and makes easier to drain the system instead of caps. Plenty of clearance on my rig never a problem and they are flexible

I got a funny story (now) about our first trip in our new to us RV toy hauler. We just went an hour and half away to test things and figure out what we are missing. We set up temp fence to keep dogs in and went about our business.
At bed time I took dogs out and told them to potty. Nothing. Ok, went to bed. Every hour they were whining to go out so I'd get dressed and let take them out. Nothing. I thought they were hearing noises. Morning comes and they are scratching at door again. I get dressed open door and my 11 month old Rott pup dives under RV. 😲
I panic and grab a leash and take off. He's p*eing on the tree next door. All of a sudden it hit me, they wont p*e inside their pen area. Lol. Second nite was much better 😁

I posted a few weeks ago about taking our microwave out and was looking for ideas of what to do in its place! This is what we came up with.. I ordered a custom cabinet door from home depot and we are using it to store our air fryer and extra kitchen stuff we didn’t have a place for before! ☺️ the chalkboard paint was my husbands idea and it’s fun to write little notes/our shopping list on!

It's Official! We got the crazy idea to sell everything back in May and live in a trailer, travel the country and meet like-minded people without a care in the world!! Today is THAT day! 💛 Escrow closed on our house and we are sitting at a campground! 🤣🤩🤩🤩

First on the agenda is to buy a 5th wheel and sell the trailer! We are currently in Oregon but heading south soon! We can't wait to see many of you on the road and swap stories around the campfire! The hardest part is figuring out where to go first! 🤣 We are avid campers looking to boondock the backroads with no city lights in sight! We are so excited! Safe Travels!

Scott Conway you asked what to do for slide rail holes. Here's a couple of photos of what I did. Get the patch from home depot plumbing department faucet aisle. Get contact cement. First cut your pieces to size make a paper template of the pipe size. Split one side of patch then cut your hole. Cement the patch then cement around the pipe. When tacky to the touch open the patch and install around pipe and any other openings you find. I completely sealed my undercarriage every hole. If you're coming to Hilton Head in may we'll be at site 220 if you want to stop by. You're welcome....Happy camping 🏕

The RV park we were at this weekend, the water was set into the ground under that cover with sewer right beside it. How many times do you suppose the water was uncovered while someone was draining the black tank and there was splash onto the water hose while moving the black tank hose. What a terrible design and why we always take drinking water with us

So I couldn’t afford the nice already made door blanket for my rv but I came up with this……..….. 2 panels of blackout thermal curtains some screws and Velcro works perfectly keeps the cold out. Got it all from family dollar!

Edit: I have put rings on the boards to run straps under the slide to hold them down if it gets windy. Also, the wood will be painted/treaded for weather. You don't need to seal at the top because there is a drain under it so water does not make it underneath

Made my own awnings. Turned out pretty well and keeps the weather off the slides
