It’s exciting to feel this shift.
My sound has evolved. My life has evolved.
I’ve felt like I’ve made such great strides in this journey. Pulled all nighters to make music while working my 9-5. Sacrificed time and kept my focus on the objective. My physical and mental health have been pushed to the limit and I made it to the other side.
The past 4 years have been the hardest time of my life. It’s strange because I had so many personal wins but it was like I was shedding the old me and people around me who wanted me to stay small. It’s been lonely going down this path that nobody but me understands.
Now it feels like realignment. The struggles were just preparation. What felt like losses in the moment were really lessons in retrospect.
I’m excited and it’s important to me to share this journey. I know I’m not the only dreamer and hope that in some capacity I’m able to invigorate, motivate, and support others in their path. It can be tough running solo.
LLABZ is about touching the sky and lifting up the community. As I continue to build there will be more than just my music. That’s just a conduit to do more good and bring joy.
