This site is the best tool that I've found, bar none. If you put in your number it will call you and a little script will pop on on the screen. It will then call a member of congress, read the little script to whoever answers or leave a voicemail, as soon as they hang up it'll say "You're doing great, here's your next call. We're not connecting you to ..." Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, etc etc etc. Oooo, right now calling Paul Ryan. One tip, if you get stuck on one that has you on indefinite hold and your stuck hit * or # and it'll generally kick you back to the "You're doing great" and call the next in line. That's all I got for ya, get to work.

Crap! How did I forget to post this here? Seriously folks, I'm horrible at keeping this page up to date. Okay, so pretend you know what I'm talking about in the commentary, which was a wee bit awhile ago when my good friend Scott had posted about Strange Brew ... or just watch the video and skip the psycho-babel ... and go!
"So when Scott posted that it was seven years ago that he had first opened Strange Brew, beyond feeling all kinds of sad and sentimental I realized I really needed to dig this one out of the archives and finally post it. I shot it that night last minute, Scott thought it'd be cool to have some video from the Shinyribs, original plan was just to throw my camera on a tripod just to have it. Not sure when I decided to get more ambitious but before it started I figured I'd do one of these type of vids where I basically record everything and boil all the footage down to make it look like it's live-ish with multiple cameras. Not really really live since they did two shows and Kevin wears two different shirts but you get the idea.
When I first made it I thought I'd save it thinking/hoping that when the Shinyribs played the next time I could blast out this vid to help promote it ... not that they need a lot of promotion to fill a place but that was the thought. When Strange Brew, Lounge Side initially closed it's doors I was pretty much what ya would call in denial. I thought of this vid and thought, well when they re-open I'll release the vid to coincide with the relaunch. I waited, and I waited, actually couldn't really imagine that there was a chance they wouldn't.
And so time went on, and eventually it was announced that Quacks was moving in which meant the jig was up. There was no coming back ... I miss being in denial.
So here it is, hope it brings back some happy memories for others as it did for me. To be completely cliche', thanks for the memories, miss you all!"

Holy crap I haven't posted in awhile! Been working on a number of projects, one is an incredible vid that will hopefully be making it's way online soon of an incredible Shinyribs show shot at Strange Brew, Lounge Side. Logging in at something like ten minutes it's borderline epic, they put on one of the best shows I've seen in a good long time. Beyond that we've been behind the scenes scribbling away on a short film/TV pilot that we're in the painful process of raising funds for. Dying to get it into production! As I'm sure there are tons of folks who like this page that are frikkin loaded with money sprouting from their ears, hit me up!

So some of you know a bit of my story, was adopted at birth and somehow wound up being in the same business as my birth father who was an actor. Didn't know this till after I was in the biz, crazy s**t. Even crazier, to me anyway, is that he was one of the main Jun Priest's in, which I had seen at least three times before knowing a thing about em. So yea, I had watched him, seen him, heard him, with nary a f***n clue that that dudes s***m made me.
Anyway, in the 80's he was in an awesome b-movie called BLADES playing the part of the awesomely fu**ing named character "Deke Slade." Essentially this film was a farcical take on Jaws, take shark, substitute lawnmower, take ocean, substitute golf course, boom, you have the makings of a great B-Movie horror flick. I guess in that analogy Deke would be Captain Quint, which is kinda awesome in and of itself. Considering the nature of the film, though admittedly biased, from an acting standpoint with a cheesy role (aside from the totally fu**ing awesome name Deke Slade) he totally stood out from the rest. He has some lines in here that I don’t know how he delivered with a straight face and his death scene is pretty frikkin epic.
Decided to compile all of his scenes for posterity, because they're also fu**ing awesome ... and here they are in all their 1984 4x3 glory =)

Can't believe it's been 6 years since we made this little awesome music vid. Sadly the band is no more, makes me weep really. But, most members are kicking ass with other projects so there is that. What I love about this one is that it shows that a "simple" performance music video can be intense, emotional, and hold a viewers attention from the very first frame to the last.

So most of the time I post my more "professional" vids, actual projects that we've done. Well here's one that was done just for funsies. Wanted to play with the Sony PMW-F3K right when I got it, primarily the slomo. For some stupid reason filming myself washing the dog seemed like a brilliant idea. The problem with that is of course is that working a camera/focusing/setting up shots with soapy hands while trying to keep an unhappy wet pup from jumping out of the sink at the same time is no easy task. Having said that, I still love this vid, though it is possible that it completely sucks and I just suffer from that proud parent syndrome and think that everyone should love watching it because my dog (her name is Kitty) is frikkin awesome. Either way I'm okay with it =)

So yea, if we did make an unprecedented exception to that rule you can be assured that it would cost at least four arms and four legs. Most assuredly it would be a breathtakingly beautiful video but you and your intended would probably have to get your respective tux and dress resized, if not completely re-tailored, to accommodate for your missing appendages.
