Please wish my dude a very happy birthday today. We are about to embark on year 10 of Studio 601. I don’t know exactly why the universe told me to ask this man to partner up on this experiment but I’m so glad the message was received. I love this man dearly. He is the heart of our duo, has an ear like a laser, holds down the low end of our band, the master tinkerer, he pushes me to be better, and most of all one helluva a friend. So yeah, happy freaking birthday Eric! 🎈 Happy New Year everyone!

This dude right here has absolutely elevated our situation, championed our work, and brought in new artists for us to help along their journey. The community we have centered around our little studio is growing exponentially and it’s really beautiful.

Emily Keeley - “Wish List” 🎄
We did this one remotely with Emily in May, spurred on by a sync agent looking for Xmas music in the spring. She cut her vocals and acoustic in Nashville then we did our thing here at 601. Love how this one turned out, it’s a must add to your holiday playlist!

Nico Little and the North Americans - “Too Young For The Blues” 👶
We cut this one live with some guys that are really embodying the spirit of core Austin music, although they hail from Canada and England lol. Keep up the work youngin’s!

Greyson Turner and Ruthie Craft - “Between The Lines” 🛣️
Good lordt talk about a powerhouse combo of singer-songwriters. If you follow us you know we’ve been collabing steadily with Greyson for a while now, but we’ve been lucky enough to start working with Ruthie as well. They got together and brought us a banger of a tune, we def need more of this!

Lousiana Surf Department - “Thank You!” 🙏
It’s a beautiful day when a band gets to release a full length album. Talk about a SOUND. We handled mixing duty on a handful of these songs with on recording and production. Dig it fellas, keep the music coming!
