Yesterday evening, we completed our journey home from St. Louis, with all bicycles in good condition. Every ride yields new insights and experiences. The ride was outstanding, with breathtaking views of quaint towns and communities that hosted us overnight. In July, I will undertake a solo ride at RAGBRAI 2026 in Iowa. I will be doing one more video for this trip reviewing all the places we stayed.

Katy trail day 10, Saturday, the final day. We departed from our hotel in St Charles and proceeded to Machens to complete the ride. We rang the bell and performed a celebratory dance before returning to the hotel. In total, we recorded approximately 260 miles, exceeding the course's 240 miles due to additional miles ridden while exploring listed attractions.

Katy trail day 9. We departed from Marthasville at an early hour today and proceeded to St Charles, arriving at approximately 3:30 pm after completing 38 miles. Tomorrow marks a significant milestone.

Katy trail day 8 commenced with our departure from Rhineland, en route to Marthasville for an overnight stay. Becky encountered another flat tire in the vicinity of Marthasville, necessitating the bikes to be pushed into town and a bike repair service to be arranged.

Katy trail day 7 saw us depart Jefferson City for Rhineland, a destination we reached after completing about 42 miles of cycling. Our ride was extended due to a flat tire on Becky's bicycle, which we replaced without undue delay. The rain's absence contributed to a smooth ride on the compacted trail. The day concludes with rest.

Katy trail day 6. We departed Rocheport, bound for Jefferson City, 38 miles distant, and experienced a difficult ride owing to the trail's soggy condition and an abundance of downed branches, notably a tree lying across the trail.

Katy trail day 5. Soggy Monday morning in Boonville but we made the best of it visiting the Clydesdale farm. Afternoon weather cleared but a lot of branches down along the path. Heading to Rocheport for the night.

Katy trail day 4. We rolled into Boonville around 3:00pm, 37 miles total!
