Beginning September 1st, 2025, the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a monthly warning siren test to ensure our emergency alert system remains fully operational.

Details:

Date: First day of every month Time: 12:00 PM (1200 hours)

Duration: 1 Minute

Location: Hunt Fire Station, 151 FM 1340

This is only a test and does not indicate an emergency. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize the safety and preparedness of our community.

💚 Coming Together for Kerr County 💚

We’re honored to share that The Buck 99.1 FM will be hosting the Kerr County Flood Relief Benefit Concert right here at 11th Street Cowboy Bar on Saturday, August 23rd.

From noon to 11 PM, incredible Texas artists will take the stage — including Scott Rotge, Kensie Coppin, Jason Grove, Gabe Choate Band, Toman Brothers, McKay Brothers, Bernie Nelson, and Red Iron Push — all coming together for one reason: to help our neighbors in need.

Every every ticket sold will go directly to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, ensuring flood victims get the support they deserve.

Let’s fill the dance floor, raise our voices, and show Kerr County that Bandera’s heart is as big as Texas. 💚
