** INGRAM EVENT **

This Wednesday, July 29 from 9-11am at the Ingram Fire Department, disaster case managers will be available, helping with iSTAT intake and Rebuild Kerr needs assessments. All Hands and Hearts will be present to share volunteer resources. Mental health professionals will be on-site. Flood buckets with cleaning supplies will also be available.

EDIT: Intake volunteers will also be at the Ingram VFD tomorrow, Tuesday, from 9am - 5pm.

PUBLIC NOTICE: FIREWORKS SCHEDULED FOR FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION

The City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department is providing notice to residents and visitors that a public fireworks display will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m. The display will be launched from Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Dr.

The fireworks display is programmed in conjunction with the Kerrville's Fourth on the River event presented by Arcadia Live, and America's 250th anniversary observance. Residents and visitors may experience increased noise and activity in the area during the event. Pet owners are encouraged to take appropriate precautions, as fireworks may be visible and audible throughout much of the city.

A 3 out of 5 (Enhanced) risk for severe thunderstorms continues for most of the Hill Country and Central Texas area. Severe thunderstorms will form along a cold front and track southeast into the Hill Country this evening. Risks include large hail, damaging wind gusts and an isolated tornado risk along a squall line that will move into Southeast Texas after midnight. The weather is calm and hot as of 3 p.m. Sunday. Expect storms to move across the area between 6 p.m-2 a.m. when the cold front slices through the region.
