COME CELEBRATE THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF LOUISE HAYS PARK THIS SATURDAY
The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to remind the community to join us in celebrating a significant milestone – the 75th anniversary of Louise Hays Park! This commemorative event will take place this Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Louise Hays Park, 202 Thompson Dr., in the heart of downtown Kerrville.
Event Details
We invite residents and visitors alike to enjoy a fun-filled morning honoring the park’s rich history and continued importance to our community. The event schedule is as follows:
• 9:00 a.m. – Farmer’s market, craft tent, and exhibitor booths open.
• 9:30 a.m. – Welcome address from Mayor Joe Herring Jr. and special recognitions.
• 10:30 a.m. – Performances from Big Seed artists: Amber Stone, Cameron Smith, Kiah Middleton, Keegan McLaughlin, Parker Ruiz, Jacob Ordones, Damien Lopez, and Aliyah Bondeson.
• 11:45 a.m. – Vibrant performance by Landon Lloyd Miller.
You won’t want to miss out on engaging, hands-on activities designed for all ages and a variety of local exhibitors. Delicious bites and refreshments will be available for purchase from vendors such as La Tapatia, Lakenvelde, Doc's Ice Cream, and AC Amusement Concessions.
