Pour Decisions: Smoke Signal

It’s been a crazy few weeks. I’m tired, running on fumes. Friday night calls for a good drink.

This week’s Pour Decision features Wee Beastie, part of Ardbeg’s You Can’t Untaste It 2026 National Tour.

•2 oz Ardbeg Wee Beastie
•3/4 oz lime juice
• 1/2 oz agave
•Grapefruit soda
•Grapefruit slice

This one wasn’t really my go-to. I think I’d tweak the recipe before making it again. Wee Beastie brings a ton of smoke and intensity.. It’s definitely built for a specific palate.

If single malt whisky is your drink of choice, there’s a good chance you’ll like this one a lot more than I did.

Everybody has that one drink they can count on when they need to seriously unwind. What’s yours?

✍🏾 Dear This Version of Me,
Never stop living!

While walking around I was asked to come sit on the “stoop” and answer a few questions. They were simple , but whenever I’m asked about who/what I wanted to be as a kid, it’s hard to hide the passion behind how I live.

I’ll be the first to admit that I did not grow up in a household that struggled. But living in a city like Baltimore, you can’t go far without facing the unfortunate realities of a lot of its citizens.

Traveling the world makes me appreciate home much more than I would’ve ever imagined. The good and the bad. Events like Artscape are a reminder of what makes the city so special. Traveling often makes me say “if everybody else is doing this, why can’t we?” Opinions are fair. Community is vital to growth.

If we want the world to see Baltimore, we’ve gotta keep putting Baltimore on that next level for the world to see.

Baltimore really knows how to come together for weekends like this.

Rain in the forecast and people are still making plans to be outside because that is just what Artscape does to the city.

The food vendors, performances, local artists, conversations, music, and energy downtown always make it feel bigger than just a festival.

This year’s lineup includes local talent along with and , so there is a lot to look forward to throughout the weekend.

Also, for everyone asking, this is officially a rain or shine event. Organizers have shared that designated indoor shelter locations and emergency procedures will be communicated ahead of time if needed.

I’m looking forward to being outside and seeing the city show up once again this weekend.

🌹 You should’ve been there for this one!

I’m a firm believer that life is meant to be enjoyed, and nothing is off limits to anyone.

🍾 For a while now, I’ve been building out what I call the Brian K. Oliver Experience. The goal has always been simple. Bring good energy, good people, and create moments that people actually enjoy being a part of.

The Romantic Tour with Bruno Mars at was the first time I did the suite experience, and it’s clear it will not be the last.

🌹 If you weren’t at in the suite for Bruno Mars , you really missed it.

This wasn’t just a show. It was a full experience!

The suite was set, the food and drinks drinks were flowing, the music was hitting, and everybody in the room was locked in from start to finish.

Pour Decisions. Saturday Edition!

Bruno Mars has me in my smooth era today!

The Romantic Tour energy is all the way up. So I had to bring it to the glass with a 24K Sour.

2 oz bourbon, pineapple juice, a touch of lemon for balance, honey syrup, egg white for that foam. Finished with edible gold because we’re not doing anything halfway.

This one is rich, a little silky, and just sweet enough to keep the vibe going all night.

Play something from Bruno Mars, pour up, and enjoy your Saturday the right way.

Just keep creating. Make the post!

I’m still amazed that I had the opportunity to be invited to New York by Meta and Samsung for the first-ever Meta Festival Creator Edition.

Being in the room, learning, and connecting with other creators pushed me to keep growing and evolving.

I’m grateful for the experience and looking forward to what’s next.
