First first “real” train ride to go to DC and rally for Democracy. It was a good day!

Today, construction workers were shocked when they found a more than 200 year old unexploded bomb buried deep in the ground at Fort McHenry in Baltimore.

History is just fascinating!

Sidewalks are public property…but homeowners are usually responsible for repairs.

It’s one of those quirks most people don’t learn about until something breaks.

💰 Typical Cost

A standard sidewalk repair in Baltimore usually runs anywhere from:
* $200–$400 per concrete panel (for small fixes)
* $1,000–$3,000+ for larger replacements or multiple panels
Costs depend on the contractor, materials, and how much needs to be replaced.

🌳 Important exception:
If the damage is caused by a city-owned tree, Baltimore may cover the repair or handle it directly.

How to Report a Damaged Sidewalk (311)

If you see a sidewalk that’s dangerous, you can report it:

📱 Call 311
📲 Use the 311 app

When submitting a report:
* Take clear photos
* Include the exact address location
* Mention if a city tree is involved

The city will inspect it and let the homeowner know who’s responsible (or handle it if it’s on them).

They keep our city moving - rain, shine, heat, or cold. Your mail carrier, your sanitation crew… they’re the unsung backbone of Baltimore. If you want a stronger city, start by knowing the people who serve it every day. A wave, a thank you - a little kindness builds strong community. 💛

Baltimore is proving a simple truth: when working people stand together, the machine shakes.

No PACs. No corporations. Just neighbors chipping in what they can to take our democracy back.

If you believe regular people deserve a voice again, join us.

Sorry to keep you all hanging since Tuesday.

When I said I had until midnight to decide, I meant it. And honestly - I was hoping the answer would be “no.” I didn’t want to run. I still kinda don’t. But sometimes the thing you don’t want to do is the thing you have to do.

At midnight on Veterans Day, I said yes - with no script, no consultants, no machine behind me. Just me, Alicia, and a whole lot of “oh s**t, what now?”

We spent the last few nights building a campaign from nothing. The website isn’t fancy. The operation is held together by caffeine, stubbornness, and two exhausted people who believe Baltimore deserves better. So thank you for sticking with us.

This race is going to be the toughest fight in Maryland. We’re not just up against a gear in the machine - we’re up against the whole damn machine: the money, the donors, the lobbyists, the insiders.

But here’s what they don’t have: people. Real people. Working families. Neighbors who look out for each other. Folks who are tired of politics being something done to them instead of for them.

If you want to be part of this, or if you can spare a buck for the scrappy website Alicia and I slapped together, here it is: bobbyforbaltimore.com

Love you all.
Let’s go win something they say we can’t.

Veterans Day BIG life choices…

11/11/2025

Veterans built this nation more than once,
from Baltimore and beyond.

We fought for its freedom.
We rebuilt it after war.
We stood for equality when others stayed
silent.

And we keep serving - in our communities, our classrooms, our hospitals, and our streets.

Veterans don't stop serving when the uniform comes off. We just find new ways to lead.

And lead we shall!

Hold The Line!

Don’t lose hope - change the system.

Last night’s Senate vote to end the shutdown wasn’t a win for America, it was a deal for the donors and yet another sign that system is rigged.

While we held the line, the politicians (both Republicans and Democrats) cashed in, corporations got richer, and the working class paid the price.

When the system is broken and the politicians refuse to fix it - it’s up to us to rebuild it.

If you know that healthcare isn’t a luxury, that food shouldn’t be a bargaining chip, and that real power doesn’t wear a suit - then this is your invitation: NOT just to participate, but to LEAD. NOT just to watch, but to ACT.

Power belongs to the PEOPLE - not the politicians. 💪🇺🇸 Don’t lose hope.

Congress needs term limits.

To all my Veteran brothers and sisters, thanks for your service. To those still not with us, thanks for your sacrifice. Go Army (and I guess all the other branches too 😄)!

PS… If you aren’t from Baltimore, “The Block” is our city’s most enthusiastic performing-arts district - mostly dancing. 💈

Also, thanks to band for playing me the Army Song at Baltimore’s Veterans Day Parade today. ❤️
