🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 40 – Behold, I Am Making Everything New

📖 Today’s Scripture: Revelation 21:1–4 (NLT)

We made it—Day 40! 🙌🏽❤️

But today is not simply the end of a 40-day journey. It is the beginning of a renewed way of walking with Jesus.

For 40 days, we have intentionally made room to Read, Listen, Meditate, Journal, and Thank Him. Today’s Scripture gives us a beautiful glimpse of where this entire journey is leading: a future with God where sorrow, pain, crying, and death will not have the final word.

God is making all things new.

📖 READ
Read Revelation 21:1–4 slowly. Don't rush through this final passage. Picture the promise of God dwelling with His people and the hope of a day when every tear will be wiped away.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, after these 40 days, what are You making new in me? What have You been preparing me to carry into the next season of my life?” Then sit quietly. Listen one more time.

💭 MEDITATE
Think back over the last 40 days—the Scriptures that challenged you, the things you surrendered, the prayers you prayed, the truths you discovered, and the moments when Jesus met you personally.

Then remember: your story is still being written.

What you have experienced during this retreat was never meant to remain within these 40 days. Carry it forward.

✍️ JOURNAL
Today, take a little extra time to write. Consider these questions:

What did Jesus reveal to me about Himself?
What did He reveal to me about myself?
What did I release during these 40 days?
What has changed in my heart?
What is Jesus asking me to do next?

Then write one final declaration:

“Because of these 40 days with Jesus, I will __________.”

🙏 THANK HIM
Don't ask for anything for a moment. Simply thank Him.

Thank Him for every revelation.
Thank Him for every correction.
Thank Him for every uncomfortable moment.
Thank Him for every answered prayer.
Thank Him for what He healed.
Thank Him for what He revealed.
Thank Him for what He is still working out.

And most importantly—thank Him for being Jesus.

🙏🏽 Final Prayer

“Lord Jesus, thank You for these 40 days. Thank You for meeting me in Your Word and inviting me closer to Your heart. Thank You for everything You revealed, everything You removed, and everything You began within me.

As this retreat ends, don't let my pursuit of You end with it. Let these 40 days become the beginning of a deeper life with You. Continue renewing my mind, transforming my heart, directing my steps, and teaching me Your ways.

When life becomes busy again, remind me to be still. When distractions come, draw my attention back to You. When I cannot see what You're doing, help me trust that You are still working.

You are my hope. You are my future. And I believe You are making all things new—including me.

Jesus, I give You my next chapter. In Your name, Amen.” ❤️

💬 Final Reflection

Don't only ask, “Did I finish the 40 days?” Ask: “Am I different because I spent 40 days intentionally seeking Jesus?”

If you completed this journey, declare:

“DAY 40 — I MADE IT! 🙌🏽 But I'm not stopping here. Jesus, my life belongs to You!”

🌿 40 days completed. A lifetime with Jesus continues.

RESET. RENEW. REFOCUS. AND NOW… GO FORWARD. ❤️

🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 39 – Count the Cost: Follow Jesus Fully

📖 Today’s Scripture: Luke 14:25–35 (NLT)

We have made it to Day 39—just ONE more day! 🙌🏽

Today, Jesus asks us a deeper question: What does it really mean to follow Me?

Following Jesus is more than adding Him to our lives—it is surrendering our lives to Him. Jesus teaches us to count the cost and recognize that true discipleship requires commitment, sacrifice, and a willingness to place Him above everything else.

This reset was never simply about completing 40 days. It has been about becoming a more surrendered follower of Jesus.

📖 READ
Read Luke 14:25–35 slowly. Pay attention to Jesus' words about discipleship, sacrifice, counting the cost, and putting Him first.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, is there anything I am holding onto more tightly than I am holding onto You? What does complete surrender look like for me?” Then sit quietly and listen.

💭 MEDITATE
Reflect on the difference between admiring Jesus and following Jesus. Following Him may require releasing comfort, changing priorities, saying no to certain things, or obeying when the path is difficult.

Ask yourself: Am I willing to follow Jesus even when following Him costs me something?

✍️ JOURNAL
Write down what the Holy Spirit reveals. Complete these statements:

“Jesus, I need to surrender __________.”
“Following You fully means I must __________.”

🙏 THANK HIM
Thank Jesus for considering you worth the cost of the cross. Thank Him for calling you into a life of purpose and for giving you the grace and strength to follow Him faithfully.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I don't want to simply know about You—I want to follow You fully. Search my heart and reveal anything I have placed ahead of You. Give me courage to surrender what You ask me to surrender and faith to obey even when it costs me something. My life belongs to You. Teach me to carry my cross, remain faithful, and follow wherever You lead. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

💬 Reflection Question:
If following Jesus required you to surrender something you deeply value, would He still be worth it?

Tomorrow is Day 40. 🌿❤️
Don't simply prepare to finish the retreat—ask Jesus how He wants you to live differently because of it.

If you're still walking with me, declare: “Day 39 — Jesus, I choose to follow You fully!” 🙌🏽

🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 38 – Seek God First & Trust Him With the Rest

📖 Today’s Scripture: Matthew 6:19–34 (NLT)

We have made it to Day 38—only two days remain! 🙌🏽 Today, Jesus speaks directly to our priorities, our treasures, and our worries. He reminds us that earthly things are temporary, but what we invest in God's Kingdom has eternal value.

And when anxiety begins whispering, “What if?” Jesus calls us back to a greater truth: Your Father already knows what you need. Seek Him first. Trust Him with tomorrow.

📖 READ
Read Matthew 6:19–34 slowly. Pay attention to what Jesus says about your treasure, your heart, worry, God's provision, and seeking His Kingdom above everything else.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, what has been receiving more of my attention than You? What am I worrying about that You are asking me to place into Your hands?” Then become quiet and listen.

💭 MEDITATE
Reflect on where your heart has been focused. Jesus points us toward the birds and the flowers as reminders of the Father's care. If God faithfully cares for His creation, you can trust Him to care for you.

You don't have to carry tomorrow today.

✍️ JOURNAL
Write down what the Holy Spirit reveals. Divide your page into two sections:

What I’ve Been Worrying About: __________
What I’m Trusting God With: __________

Then write: “Today, I will seek God first by __________.”

🙏 THANK HIM
Thank the Father for knowing exactly what you need. Thank Him for His provision in the past, His presence today, and His faithfulness concerning tomorrow.

Prayer:
“Father, forgive me for the times I have allowed worry, possessions, success, or tomorrow's uncertainties to occupy the place in my heart that belongs to You. Teach me to seek Your Kingdom first and trust You with everything else. When anxiety rises, remind me that You see me, You know what I need, and You are faithful. I surrender tomorrow and choose to walk with You today. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

💬 Reflection Question:
What would change today if you truly believed that God already knows what you need and can be trusted with your tomorrow?

If you're continuing the 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus, declare: “Day 38 — I will seek God first and trust Him with the rest!” 🙌🏽

Only 2 days remain. Don't rush the ending. Stay present. Stay surrendered. Keep listening. Jesus is still speaking. 🌿

🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 37 – Choose Grace Over Revenge

📖 Today’s Scripture: Matthew 5:38–42 (NLT)

Today, Jesus challenges us to respond differently when we have been hurt, offended, mistreated, or taken advantage of. Our natural response may be to get even, defend ourselves, or make sure the other person feels what they made us feel. But Jesus calls us to a higher way—the way of grace.

Following Jesus means refusing to allow someone else's actions to determine the condition of our heart.

📖 READ
Read Matthew 5:38–42 slowly. Pay attention to how Jesus challenges the natural desire for retaliation and invites us into a life marked by generosity, humility, and grace.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, is there anyone I am secretly trying to get even with? Am I holding onto an offense because I believe they deserve what they did to me?” Be still and allow Him to speak.

💭 MEDITATE
Consider this: You don't have to repay every wrong. Choosing grace does not mean pretending something didn't hurt or remaining in an unsafe situation. It means refusing to let revenge, bitterness, or resentment control your response.

Trust God with justice while allowing Him to keep your heart free.

✍️ JOURNAL
Write down what the Holy Spirit reveals. Is there an offense you keep replaying? A person you are struggling to forgive? A situation you need to release into God's hands?

Complete this statement:

“Jesus, instead of responding with __________, help me respond with __________.”

🙏 THANK HIM
Thank Jesus for the grace He has extended to you. Thank Him for giving you the strength to respond differently and for freeing you from the burden of trying to settle every score yourself.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, when I am hurt, offended, or mistreated, help me respond like You. Remove the desire for revenge from my heart. Give me wisdom to establish healthy boundaries while still walking in forgiveness and grace. I surrender every offense into Your hands and trust You with what I cannot fix. Don't allow what someone did to me to change who You are creating me to be. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

💬 Reflection Question:
Is there an offense you need to stop replaying and finally place into God's hands?

If you're continuing the 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus, declare: “Day 37 — Jesus, I choose grace!” ❤️

🌿 Only 3 days remain. Don't just count down the days—allow these final days to count. Read. Listen. Meditate. Journal. Thank Him.

WHO TOLD YOU WHO YOU ARE?

Sometimes the hardest labels to remove are the ones other people placed on us.

Too much.
Not enough.
Rejected.
Unqualified.
Unwanted.
Different.

And somewhere along the way, their opinions became the mirror we started looking into.

But what if God never called you what they called you?

In my latest blog, “When the World Defines You: Breaking Free from the Opinions of Others,” we’re confronting rejection, insecurity, and the pressure to become who others expect us to be.

🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 36 – Let Your Yes Be Yes

📖 Today’s Scripture: Matthew 5:33–37 (NLT)

Today, Jesus calls us to a life of integrity—where our words can be trusted because our hearts are committed to truth. We shouldn't need elaborate promises to convince people that we mean what we say. As followers of Christ, our character should speak for us.

Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Let your life agree with your words.

📖 READ
Read Matthew 5:33–37 slowly. Pay attention to Jesus' teaching about promises, honesty, and simply allowing our “Yes” to mean yes and our “No” to mean no.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, do my words reflect Your truth? Have I made commitments I haven't honored or said things simply to please others?” Be still and allow Him to speak.

💭 MEDITATE
Think about the relationship between your words and your character. Integrity means being the same person privately and publicly—truthful, dependable, and trustworthy even when keeping your word costs you something.

✍️ JOURNAL
Write down what the Holy Spirit reveals. Ask yourself:

Where do my words and actions need greater alignment?

If there is a commitment you need to honor, a truth you need to speak, or even a boundary that requires an honest “No,” write it down.

🙏 THANK HIM
Thank Jesus for being completely faithful and trustworthy. Thank Him for teaching you to live with integrity and for giving you grace when your words or actions have fallen short.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, make me a person of truth and integrity. Let my words reflect Your character. Help me keep the commitments I make, speak truth with love, and have the courage to say no when necessary. May my yes be trustworthy, my no be honest, and my life agree with what I say I believe. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

💬 Reflection Question:
If people judged your faithfulness by the consistency between your words and your actions, what would your life say?

If you're continuing the 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus, declare: “Day 36 — Lord, let my words and my life agree!” 🙏🏽

🌿 Only 4 days remain. Keep reading. Keep listening. Keep surrendering. Keep allowing Jesus to transform you from the inside out.

🌿 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus
Day 35 – Guard Your Heart & Your Eyes

📖 Today’s Scripture: Matthew 5:27–30 (NLT)

Today, Jesus takes us deeper than outward behavior and speaks directly to the condition of our hearts. He reminds us that purity begins long before an action—it begins with what we allow our eyes to dwell on, our minds to entertain, and our hearts to desire.

As we continue this reset, Jesus is asking us to be intentional about removing anything that continually pulls our hearts away from Him. What we repeatedly entertain can eventually influence how we live.

📖 READ
Read Matthew 5:27–30 slowly. Notice how seriously Jesus speaks about temptation and the importance of removing influences that repeatedly lead us away from God's will.

👂 LISTEN
Ask Jesus, “Lord, what am I allowing into my eyes, thoughts, or heart that is interfering with my walk with You? Show me what needs to change.” Then become quiet and listen.

💭 MEDITATE
Think about what regularly receives your attention—what you watch, scroll through, think about, desire, and revisit in your mind. Ask yourself: Is what I'm feeding my heart drawing me closer to Jesus or slowly pulling me away?

✍️ JOURNAL
Write down what the Holy Spirit reveals. Identify any distractions, habits, influences, or thought patterns that need stronger boundaries.

Complete this statement:
“To protect my relationship with Jesus, I need to become more intentional about __________.”

🙏 THANK HIM
Thank Jesus for loving you enough to reveal what needs to change. Thank Him for His grace, forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit who gives you strength to choose what honors God.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, search my heart and purify my desires. Guard my eyes, renew my thoughts, and help me remove anything that repeatedly draws me away from You. Give me wisdom to establish healthy boundaries and courage to obey You even when it requires sacrifice. I want my private thoughts and choices to honor You just as much as my public worship. Create in me a clean heart and make my life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

💬 Reflection Question:
What are you allowing into your heart that Jesus may be asking you to remove, limit, or surrender?

If you're continuing the 40-Day Reset Retreat with Jesus, declare: “Day 35 — Jesus, guard my heart and renew my mind!” ❤️

Only 5 days remain. Don't rush the final stretch. Keep reading. Keep listening. Keep surrendering. Let Jesus finish what He started in you. 🌿
