It’s always a bit of a shock when we see families we admire go through tough times, especially when their lives online seem so full of joy and love. Jeraldine and Josh of the Black family shared so many happy moments with us, and it’s sad to hear about their separation. However, it’s inspiring to see that they will continue to co-parent their children, Jette and Nimo, with care. This situation reminds us that social media often shows just a small glimpse of someone’s life—the smiles, the good times—but there’s so much more happening behind the scenes. It’s easy to compare ourselves to others and assume they have perfect lives, but we all face our own challenges. What matters most are the real, meaningful connections we nurture with the people around us, beyond what we see on a screen.
