Two charged after 5-year-old boy found alone in Town of Chenango

The boy, who was not identified by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, had cuts and abrasions on his feet when he was found on East Hill Road, about a mile away from the Oak Hill Road home where a relative, Miller, was babysitting for him, deputies said.

A man and a woman from the Town of Chenango were charged after deputies responded around noon Saturday to a report of a 5-year-old boy walking without shoes on East Hill Road.
