LUNCH•DATE .oberlin and I enjoyed checking out 🆕 location and everything was “C’est Bon!”
Located in the Village District, Simply Crêpes offers a variety of dishes from their homespun craft kitchen featuring breakfast, starter & sides, salads, main dishes, desserts, coffee, mocktails as well as a full bar!
✨SIPS | Choose a Mimosa flight or a boozy Coffee flight to begin. Both were a delight and a great way to try a variety of their cocktails!
✨SHAREABLES | Brussels Sprouts with shallots,applewood bacon, maple balsamic & goat cheese are sure to please and great to share! And the Bangin’ Shrimp, which are crepe-battered and tossed in bourbon hot honey were so good! Size does matter to me when it comes to shrimp and these were definitely bangin’! Our server Liam said his favorite is the Charred Ricotta Toast: fresh tomato basil pico, lemon ricotta and charred Texas toast with house bourbon hot honey. It was really good!
✨BREAKFAST | Chicken + Waffles Crepe is a reimagining of the classic dish with hand battered chicken breast, tossed in maple bourbon sauce, applewood bacon and a crepe instead of a waffle! Add on the bacon cream sauce for a nice variation!
The RumChata Banana French Toast deserves a round of applause- this fresh off the griddle dish features Chef’s French Toast, burnt custard, caramelized bananas, RumChata caramel and a sweet surprise! I’m still dreaming about how delicious it was!
✨MAIN PLATES | Seafood Crepe
is for the seafood lovers featuring a seafood medley of scallops, jumbo shrimp, and cod tossed with bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, bok choy in a basil cream sauce, finished with roasted red pepper sauce. We loved the presentation of this tasty dish!
