Want an instant upgrade to your customer experience - without doing anything complicated?

Here are 3 things you can do this weekend in under 5 minutes:

1️⃣ Rewrite ONE customer message to sound more like “Here’s what I can do for you” instead of “I can’t.”

2️⃣ Update your voicemail greeting so new customers don’t hit a dead end.

3️⃣ Add one sentence to your booking confirmation that creates clarity:
“Here’s what you can expect next…”

Small things, big impact.

✨ If you want personalized feedback, I’m offering a quick Customer Experience Mini-Audit this weekend - fast, simple, and actually helpful.
Comment AUDIT and I’ll send you the info.

A while back, I had a customer service experience that still sticks with me… and honestly, it’s a huge part of why I’m so passionate about customer experience today.

I called a company because I was having an issue with their product. They told me they’d file a ticket… and that I should call back in 48 hours to check on it.

Like… what?!

I’m having trouble with YOUR product and the follow-up is MY responsibility?

So 48 hours later, I called back.

They had no ticket on file.
Told me to open another ticket.
And (again) told me to call back in 48 hours. 😵‍💫

That was my moment of clarity:

👉 Doing business shouldn’t be hard on the customer.

Customers are already choosing you. They’re already paying you. They shouldn’t have to work harder because something isn’t functioning right.

That experience is one of the reasons I help small businesses rethink customer communication and the little moments that shape how customers feel - especially during a problem.

If you want me to take a quick look at your messaging or customer journey, I’m doing a few weekend mini-audits.

Comment AUDIT or send me a DM and I’ll send the details.

This week absolutely tapped me out - in the best and most overwhelming ways possible. 😅

But if this week taught me anything, it’s this: just because something feels hard or heavy doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong. Sometimes it just means you’re building something meaningful.

For me, stepping deeper into the world of customer experience has been eye-opening. I’m realizing how small shifts in communication can completely change the way a customer feels, responds, and engages.

If you’re feeling stretched thin this week too… same.
We’ve got this. ❤️

(PS — I pulled together a few things to make life easier for small business owners this weekend. More on that tomorrow.)

If you ever wonder how your customer experience looks from the outside… I’ve started doing quick “mini audits” that give clarity fast. Just message me “audit” if you want one.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends! 🧡

Today I’m feeling incredibly thankful - not just for my family (who mean everything to me), but also for what this year has brought into my life.

Stepping away from my old career path earlier this year was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made… but it opened the door to building something that feels genuinely mine.

Peek Virtual Solutions grew in ways I never expected.
I got clearer on what I’m meant to do.
I found work that energizes me instead of drains me.
And I finally feel like I’m creating a business that gives me flexibility, fulfillment, and the chance to show up for my family the way I’ve always wanted.

If you’re in a season of transition or questioning - I hope this encourages you.
Sometimes the biggest leaps lead to the biggest blessings.

Grateful today and every day for all the support.
Hope your Thanksgiving is full of warmth, rest, and quality time with the people who make life sweet. 🧡🤎

Last night’s women’s networking event reminded me why I love being a part of this community of driven, supportive female entrepreneurs. 🤍

Showing up in these rooms helps me grow not just as a business owner, but as a woman who believes in collaboration over competition. Every conversation sparks new ideas, new perspectives, and new opportunities to support one another’s businesses.

As a virtual assistant specializing in customer service + operations for small business owners, these connections matter. When we truly know each other’s strengths, we can refer business with confidence and help our local community thrive.

Empowered women really do empower women - and I’m grateful to keep building with this incredible group. ✨

The truth is… my biggest business breakthroughs didn’t come from a “perfect strategy.”
They came from lessons that forced me to rethink how I work with customers.

Here are 5 lessons I wish I had learned sooner:
⭐ Customers’ perception is reality
⭐ How you say something changes everything
⭐ Doing business with you should feel easy
⭐ Put the customer at the center of every decision
⭐ Trust comes from transparency (under promise, over deliver)

These lessons reshaped how I run my business and connect with people.
Maybe one of them will save you some time (and a few mistakes).

👉 Which one hits home for you?

✨ If we haven’t properly met…

Hi, I’m Lisa, and I realized that while I’ve been sharing insights here, I haven’t properly introduced myself in a while.

Here’s the short version:

What I do:
I help entrepreneurs - especially mom entrepreneurs - have more time for the things that matter most by taking some of their less desirable or more time-consuming tasks off their plate.

What makes my approach different:
What sets me apart is that I’m a mom too, so I understand what it’s like to balance it all. I started this business to have more time with my kids, and I want the same for my clients. With my experience, I specialize especially in customer experience and communication.

What I’m focused on right now:
👉 Right now, I’m working with my current clients on streamlining their business processes, and I’m also looking for more clients I can support in the same way.

What I believe:
I believe entrepreneurs shouldn’t have to choose between growing a business and having time for what matters most - and that starts with strong relationships and communication. It’s a big part of how I approach my work.

Who I’m looking to connect with:
I’m always looking to connect with entrepreneurs - especially mom entrepreneurs - who are growing their businesses and looking for ways to create more balance, freedom, and time for what matters most.

If we haven’t formally connected yet:
I’d love to know who’s in my network and how I can support you.

Please share in the comments (or send me a message):
– What do you do?
– What are you focused on right now?
– Who are good connections for you?

If I can make an intro, I’m happy to.
And if someone comes to mind who might benefit from what I do, feel free to tag them or send them my way.

Let’s keep building a network that’s intentional, generous, and human.

Running a business while raising 4 boys means my days rarely look the same… but here’s a peek at what “work from home” really looks like for me:

☕ Coffee and breakfast while checking in on my businesses
🧹 Morning chores squeezed in between emails
🏊 Swim practice runs
📦 Baby gear deliveries
🚗 Car snacks (for ALL 4 boys!) while we commute
🍽 Back home to keep working while juggling dinner + evening routines

It’s busy, it’s chaotic, and it’s definitely not always picture-perfect — but it’s ours. 💛

For my fellow moms who work from home — do you ever feel like your car, kitchen table, and iPad have officially become your office too? 😂

👂 Is all feedback really good feedback? Let’s talk.

As someone who’s spent years on the frontlines of customer service - training teams, handling escalations in retail, and now serving traveling families through my baby gear rental business - I’ve seen feedback in all its forms: helpful, confusing, and occasionally… hurtful.

One thing I’ve learned? How we receive and respond to feedback can make or break the customer experience and the internal culture of a business.

So I’m curious:
Do you believe all feedback is valuable, even when it’s harsh or poorly delivered? Or do you think some feedback should be taken with a grain of salt?

Let’s discuss in the comments!

I’d love to hear from other business owners, team leads, and customer-facing professionals - what role does feedback play in how you operate and grow?

☕️ Planner open, coffee poured, iPad ready… this is how my mornings as a Virtual Assistant begin. ✨

While the tools are simple, the impact behind the work is big:
👩🏼‍💻 Recruiting + onboarding new team members
📅 Scheduling appointments + keeping calendars running smoothly
📧 Managing customer communications + inboxes
📢 Supporting email marketing + social media communities
…and all the little details in between that keep businesses moving forward.

Being a VA means wearing many hats so my clients can focus on what they do best - while I make sure the rest runs seamlessly. 🙌🏼

Curious if a Virtual Assistant could take some tasks off your plate? Let’s chat!
