A long shot, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask.

My son’s iPhone went missing near the river in the area shown on the map last night around 6:00PM.

We’ve retraced our steps and checked everywhere we can think of without any luck.

If anyone happened to find an iPhone in this area, or knows if one was turned in anywhere, I’d appreciate a message. It was in a black case.

We’re hoping it’s simply lost and that someone picked it up for safekeeping.

Thanks for keeping an eye out. 🤠📱

The sun has set on another weekend in Bandera.

Whether you spent it at the river, listening to live music, shopping downtown, visiting with friends, or simply enjoying some quiet time, another weekend has come and gone.

What did you get into this weekend?

I'd love to hear what everyone was up to.

Every time I ask people what they love most about Bandera, I get a different answer.

Some say the river.

Some say the live music.

Some say the rodeos.

Some say the slower pace of life.

Some say it's one of the few places where the western lifestyle is still very much alive and part of everyday life.

Whatever the reason, there seems to be something about this little town that keeps drawing people back.

What keeps bringing you back to Bandera?

Saturday night in Bandera looks a little different depending on where you are.

Some people are listening to live music.
Some are out with friends.
Some are sitting by a campfire.

And some are just watching the river roll by as the sun goes down.

How are you spending your Saturday evening?

One of the things I love most about Bandera is that you get to experience two completely different sides of town.

Last night there was live music, people out enjoying dinner, and a lot of Friday night energy.

This morning? Quiet streets, slower pace, and a little extra peace and quiet.

Which version of Bandera do you prefer - the lively nights or the peaceful mornings?

The weekend is getting underway in Bandera, and there's no shortage of places to grab dinner, listen to live music, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a night out.

This is just a quick look around town tonight as folks head into the weekend.

What's your favorite part of a Friday night in Bandera?

A quiet Friday morning in Bandera as another weekend gets underway.

After a busy holiday weekend last week, things are feeling a little slower around town this morning.

What's on your agenda this weekend?

Staying local? Heading to the river? Traveling? Tackling projects? Relaxing at home?

Let us know what you've got planned!

One thing I realized while walking around downtown Bandera with little kids this weekend - it can actually be a little tricky finding public restrooms for families.

And to be clear, this is not meant to bash businesses at all. Businesses absolutely have the right to decide whether their restrooms are for customers only.

But since Bandera gets so many visiting families, I thought it might actually be helpful to start a conversation and maybe even help visitors know where family-friendly restroom options are available downtown.

So local businesses - if you’re comfortable with families stopping in for a quick restroom break for little ones while visiting downtown, feel free to comment below so visitors can know where to go.

And families/visitors - have you ever run into this while spending time downtown?

Everybody knows the main river spots in Bandera, but some of the quieter crossings outside of town were looking pretty nice this evening too.

Shallow water, cooler weather, and lots of people out enjoying the river after the holiday weekend.

Have a favorite river crossing or swimming spot around Bandera?

One thing about a weekend in Bandera - you’re probably not leaving hungry.

Between takeout from Pap's Italian Grill, dinner at Tj's at The Old Forge and OST Restaurant, breakfast and coffee at The Hen's Nest, and mimosas and breakfast pizza at The Dough Joe, we definitely ate our way through Memorial Day weekend around town.

What’s your go-to Bandera stop when friends or family come to visit?
