TRADE IMPERFECTION FOR PERFECTION
Adam, when I am not traveling, my wife and listen to Songtime each morning. We started listening to it years ago after I spoke at Ruggles Street Baptist Church where John Debrine was pastor at the time. By the way, you are doing a great job. Just one small thing: When I did my commentary on Revelation, I made an in- depth study on 2:4. The compliant of Christ against the church at Ephesus was not that they had LOST their first love, but they had LEFT it. Not that their love was LALCKING but it was LEAN. It was no longer vibrant, no longer exciting, no longer energetic, no longer thrilling. It no longer had the depth and fervency it once had for Christ. As Christ looked at Ephesus He saw a congregation that was outwardly impressive at the very moment it was inwardly impoverished. In form polished, active, purring with efficiency, in spirit undernourished, anemic, decaying, and LACKING in first love. Perhaps insignificant to many, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. God bless you, dear friend. (Dr. Reg Dunlap)
I used to listen to SongTime on Trans World Radio--KTWG Agania, Guam in 1976-1979. I was a kid and we listened to the radio all the time riding around the island with my dad in his truck. JVernon McGee was another one.

Psalm 1
How well God must like you— you don’t hang out at Sin Saloon, you don’t slink along Dead-End Road, you don’t go to Smart-Mouth College. Instead you thrill to God’s Word, you chew on Scripture day and night. You’re a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month, Never dropping a leaf, always in blossom. ...
Deep in our hearts,
The light of heaven is shining.
RumiThese were his last words. As they watched, he was taken up and disappeared in a cloud. They stood there, staring into the empty sky. Suddenly two men appeared—in white robes! They said, “You Galileans!—why do you just stand here looking up at an empty sky? This very Jesus who was taken up from among you to heaven will come as certainly—and mysteriously—as he left.”
