District 12 Councilor Dora Patzkowski this week met with Tulsa County District 1 Commissioner Stan Sallee to present a $200,000 contribution. The funds are supporting work on a two-mile stretch of Memorial Drive, between 166th St. North and 186th St. North.

The Cherokee Nation’s Children’s Clothing Assistance Program application is now open! 👕🧦

To help parents with back-to-school shopping, a one-time payment of $150 through the tribe’s annual Children’s Clothing Assistance Program is open to income-eligible Cherokee citizens under the age of 19. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

To qualify, applicants must be a Cherokee Nation citizen as of June 30, 2026, and must be under the age of 19 years old. Household income must not exceed 150% of the federal poverty income guidelines for household size.

We hope this program helps our Cherokee Nation families with children and their back-to-school shopping needs.
