You still have time.
Not to do more.
Not to rush.
Not to panic-plan your way into January.
But to decide what actually comes with you into 2026.
What stays because it worked.
What goes because it drained you.
What needs clarity before it becomes another year of guessing.
This is the quiet window where good decisions are made.
If you want help sorting through the noise, Pick My Brain sessions and social media audits are open as we head into the new year.

Check out this gorgeous vase!
I absolutely love it. The size, the sparkle, the blue color that makes me happy every time I look at it.
Fun fact: I’ve actually had this vase for years. It was a gift from one of my favorite people, someone I don’t get to see anymore. It’s precious to me, so I've been keeping it tucked away in its pretty, protective velvet box because I didn’t want anything to happen to it.
I thought I was protecting it, but really, I think it was more about control.
If I kept it safe, I couldn’t accidentally knock it over.
If I kept it hidden, nothing bad could happen to it.
After a very intense year, I am finally asking myself:
Why am I keeping the things that bring me joy locked away?
Why am I self-sabotaging my happiness?
Has control been more important than joy?
Enough is enough.
Today, I took it out of its box, filled it with fresh flowers from our local Sprouts, and set it where I can see it every day, where it can actually brighten my space and my mood.
It made me realize I do this in other parts of life too.
I save things for later and end up missing out on enjoying them.
I hold back joy, connection, and even creativity for “another time.”
Drop a ❤️ or let me know if you do this too.
So today, on World Mental Health Day, I’m reminding myself (and maybe you too):
Eat dessert first.
Wear the sparkly shoes.
Hit send on the post.
Say yes to the plans.
Show up for the people who matter.
Have a magical weekend, and don’t forget to do something for YOU!
If you're scrolling this morning while still in pajamas or sneaking a scroll between mimosa refills... hi, you're my people.
Today’s not about algorithms or analytics. It’s about pausing. Breathing. Maybe not even posting (unless your dogs are wearing bunny ears like Slim here, then totally go for it - and be sure to tag me).
Whatever Easter looks like for you, whether it's a holiday or just another Sunday, I hope it includes rest, snacks, and zero guilt for not “doing more.”
Happy Easter from Actually Social, where social media doesn’t have to be scary.
