WNYers, please keep an eye out for this Ducati -
Western NY friends! Our pal Sean @themotoworks has his shop broken into early this morning and this bike was stolen off the lift. Please keep your eyes peeled for this 2009 Ducati 848. It’s very distinctive with custom paint on carbon bodywork, a full termi exhaust and ohlins suspension. It was stolen with the bottom fairing removed similar to this photo.
Please share and let’s get this bike back to it’s proper owner. Thanks!
We love this!

Charcoal is an interesting medium. It amazes me while working with vine charcoal that the drawing often looks a terrible mess right up until the end when (hopefully) everything snaps into place and suddenly it hangs together to make a nice image. At least that’s what I’m aiming for with this work in progress.
Hop over to Patreon for a preview of some of what's in store for our return to print!

Have you stopped into City Limit Moto in Cheektowaga lately? If not, you need to. Their gear is beautiful.
This is a great pic!
Well, we were unable to see our students for the last two months of classes due to the pandemic but we figured out a way to gather together one last time as a group! A couple couldn't make it but for those that did, we had a great day of food and riding. Congrats to all of our 2020 graduating seniors, we look forward to seeing our 2021 seniors in August and we can't wait to welcome our new freshman class in person! Thanks a million to Mr Koester and his family for letting us come by for the day!!
Two-strokes, a "buzzsaw," and musings on scramblers -
As I’ve said multiple times on the new podcast, we live in strange times. Fortunately, motorcycling at its core is a solo sport. “Social Distancing” on a motorcycle is easy, and for many, the whole…

Good News and Bad News folks! I was just notified Mid-Ohio has been postponed (NOT cancelled). new date TBD...
Let’s cross our fingers folks!!
Another big 2020 bummer. Hard decicions have to be made, but we'll definitely be there next year!
CANCELLATION NOTICE and REFUND POLICY...PLEASE READ.
After much deliberation and loss of sleep we, as a club, have unfortunately canceled the 2020 Kenda Northeast 24hr Challenge.
This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make and it hurts.
The strict New York State phasing policy has presented us with too many issues to overcome as a club comprised of all volunteers.
We kept coming back to three facts.
First off, with the restrictions forced upon us, we could not provide you with the caliber of event that we want and you expect.
Secondly, we can not jeopardize our partners at Tall Pines with any chance of violation or wrong doing because of our event.
Thirdly, is the overall health and safety for all of the riders, crews and fans...this is not something we take lightly as rider safety is always our priority.
In addition, the logistics of recruiting a larger workforce, adding extra spacing between campers plus spacing pit boxes apart all while policing new policies for 24 plus hours makes a tough situation impossible for us.
There is so much we want to say to our riders, fan base and sponsors but I will leave it as a simple thank you. Thank you for your understanding and supporting us in the past as well as, hopefully, the future. We promise to come back better than ever in 2021.
We will be mailing out to each entry a cancellation letter including a refund policy that we ask you to return with your choice selected. The contact person on each entry will receive this.
REFUND POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS:
If you do not wish to receive a refund, you will automatically be entered for the 2021 Northeast 24hr Challenge, July 17th and 18th 2021, with no risk of price increase and nothing to send in on January 1st 2021.
If you wish to be refunded for the 2020 Kenda Northeast 24hr Challenge please note, you will have to sign up again in January if you wish to be in the 2021 Kenda NE 24 Hour Challenge. Only the original payer is eligible for a refund.
PLEASE RETURN THE FORM WITH YOUR CHOICE NO LATER THAN JULY 18th 2020. If we have not received the form with your selection we will assume you would like to stay signed up for the 2021 24 Hour and the refund policy closes.
Any questions please contact us.
Again, this is with great regret and it saddens all of us, and again, thank you for understanding, we promise to be back in 2021 bigger and better!
A 111-yr-old beauty!

Take a look at this behind the scenes photo of one of Curtiss’ promotional shoots! Curtiss developed the v-twin engine in 1903, the v-four shortly after, and by 1907, Curtiss had created the v-8, which is widely known for allowing Curtiss to become the “Fastest Man on Earth” at the Florida Speed Carnival in Ormond Beach. This photo would have been taken sometime between 1903 and 1907 to promote one of the new motorcycles featured in the Curtiss Motors and Motoreycle catalog.
