True Devotion to the Holy Virgin
Today the Church celebrates the 100th anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady to the three shepherd children of Fatima, two of whom (Francisco and Jacinta) were canonized by Pope Francis earlier today. The homily below was preached by Fr. Hugh at the Montfortian Shrine of Our Lady of the Island on the occasion of a visit by one of the international pilgrim images from the sanctuary in Fatima.

Philippines 2017 - Invocation sung by Montfort Priests and Seminarians
Several hundred people joined members of the Company of Mary's Delegation of the Philippines for a series of activities to bring our Tercentennial Celebration of Our Founder's passing into glory to a joy-filled conclusion. The final activity was the "Dinner for a Cause" to support the formation programs for our young Filipino candidates and seminarians. Fr. Hugh has just posted a video of the Thanksgiving Invocation that was sung by our priests and aspirants at the beginning of the evening.

On this Ascension Thursday, we are conscious that one of the methods of praying the Rosary that we have from Fr. de Montfort asks for this grace through our praying of the Mystery of the Ascension: An ardent desire for Heaven, our true home. A good question to ask oneself today, then, is "Do I truly long for Heaven, or does this desire need to be stirred up and kindled anew in me that it might burn more ardently?"

The Light of Faith
At the end of July the Company of Mary began a collaborative project with the Evangelization Office of the Diocese of Metuchen to produce an integrated set of resource materials for use in parishes and lay formation programs. Here is a sample from the first round of filming for a series of videos outlining the core content of the proclamation of faith.
We Become What We See
This is the homily Fr. Hugh preached on the occasion of his farewell Mass at St. Mary Gate of Heaven Parish on April 28, 2012.
