Hey, guys, I could use your help here.
I am on the Board of Directors for The Buchanan House Project, a newly formed non-profit serving domestic violence survivors. We are preparing for our first big fundraiser, an online auction at the end of October, and are rounding up donations of gifts and services from businesses.
I plan to offer a gift certificate for writing/rewriting: whether a business or personal letter, a personalized story for a child, a memorial or tribute, or something else (no, I won't write your term paper, but I would offer feedback). It could be serious, humorous, etc.
I am looking for suggestions in crafting the gift certificate to be auctioned. Is there anything you would enjoy having someone else write for you (that doesn't involve a grade)? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
