🧧 Celebrating Lunar New Year — Honoring My Daughter’s Heritage

Today we welcome a new beginning — and for our family, this celebration carries deeper meaning.

Lunar New Year isn’t just about turning a page on the calendar. It’s about honoring heritage, family, and the traditions that shape who we are. As a mother, this day reminds me how powerful identity is — especially when it’s layered with culture and history.

My daughter carries a beautiful blend of Chinese and Vietnamese heritage, and each Lunar New Year is a reminder of the richness rooted within her. From the symbolism of red for protection and prosperity, to the giving of red envelopes as blessings for abundance and luck — these traditions are more than customs. They are stories passed down through generations.

They are resilience.
They are respect.
They are remembrance.

And while we celebrate Lunar New Year now, we also look forward to Lao New Year in April — another beautiful reminder that renewal comes in seasons, not just once a year. I love that our family experiences multiple new beginnings. It teaches us that growth is ongoing.

This Year of the Horse symbolizes strength, independence, forward movement, and courage. When I look at my daughter, I see all of that reflected in her spirit.

I pray she always walks boldly in who she is — confident in her roots, proud of her heritage, and fearless in becoming who she is meant to be.

Today we celebrate renewal.
We celebrate family.
We celebrate identity.

Happy Lunar New Year 🧧
May this year bring strength, wisdom, protection, and abundance to your home and mine.

February — Self-Love • Worth • Wellness

Confidence. Boundaries. Emotional & Physical Well-Being.
When the Reset Didn’t Start on Time—and That’s Okay

February arrived quietly for me—without fanfare, without a perfect reset.

If I’m being honest, January felt heavy. Beautiful, full, meaningful—but also overwhelming. Travel plans, showing up for family, celebrating others, preparing spaces and moments that weren’t centered on me. Somewhere along the way, my personal reset got delayed.

And instead of easing into it, I felt stuck.

Not lazy. Not unmotivated. Just… overwhelmed.

I had every intention of starting January strong—vision, routines, clarity—but life asked for my attention in other ways. So things were pushed. Paused. Left unfinished. And for a moment, I felt guilty about that.

But here’s the truth I’m learning in this season of becoming again:

It’s okay to pause.
It’s okay to restart.
It’s okay if the timeline doesn’t look how you imagined.

Becoming isn’t about perfection—it’s about honesty.

Instead of forcing myself to go back and “redo” January’s vision reset, I decided to move forward. Gracefully. Intentionally. Without punishment. February doesn’t require me to catch up—it invites me to come home to myself.

That’s why this month’s focus is simple and necessary:

Self-Love. Worth. Wellness.

This month, I’m choosing confidence over comparison.
Boundaries over burnout.
Care over criticism.

Wellness for me isn’t just workouts or green smoothies—it’s emotional check-ins, saying no without guilt, resting without explanation, and remembering that I am worthy even when I move slowly.

February is my reminder that self-love isn’t selfish—it’s foundational. That worth doesn’t need to be proven—it already exists. That wellness begins the moment we decide we matter too.

So if you’re starting late… starting again… or starting gently—welcome. We’re not behind. We’re becoming.

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026:

My January blog introduction theme will be Vision, Reset & Intention.

January is my invitation to pause, reset, and realign. As we step into this new year, I’m dedicating the month to vision, reset, and intention—creating space to reflect on where we’ve been and courageously map where we’re going.

Starting next week, I’ll be launching a Reset Challenge alongside a Money Savings Challenge designed to support intentional living all year long. These challenges are about more than routines or numbers—they’re about building momentum, clarity, and confidence as we move forward with purpose.

This month also marks the launch of my website journal, where I’ll be sharing my real-time thoughts, lessons, and experiences as I walk through this journey of becoming the woman I’m called to be—and accomplishing the goals I’ve set for this year. Expect honest reflections, practical tools, and encouragement rooted in grace and growth.

Throughout January (and beyond), I’ll be focusing on topics close to my heart:

- Prioritizing self-care without guilt

- Sharing travel ideas and experiences that expand perspective

- Managing finances, paying off debt, and creating pathways to financial freedom

- Empowerment through confidence, clarity, and community

- Giving back and serving with purpose

- Exploring aligned ways of making money while honoring your values

My hope is that this space becomes a place of inspiration and action—where women (and anyone seeking a reset) feel seen, supported, and equipped to design a life that feels intentional and fulfilling.

Here’s to a January of fresh starts, bold vision, and aligned steps forward. Let’s reset—together. ✨

Wishing you peace, clarity, and a gentle start ✨

Year-End Closure + Gratitude is on the agenda:

As this year closes, I’m choosing gratitude over regret.
For lessons learned.
For prayers answered—and unanswered.
For strength I didn’t know I had.
For grace that carried me through.

I’m walking into the new year grounded, grateful, and guided.
Ready—not because everything is perfect—but because I trust God’s leading.

Here’s to becoming the CEO of our lives—one faithful step at a time 🤍✨

I step into the new year with peace, purpose, and trust.

As we prepare for a new year, I’m not asking what do I want to achieve…

I’m asking:
✨ How do I want to feel in the year ahead?

Peace? Joy? Confidence? Alignment?

Vision + Alignment is on the agenda:

I’m not rushing into the new year—I’m aligning with it.
Alignment over pressure.
Faith over fear.
Clarity over comparison.

The next season of my life doesn’t require me to hustle harder—it requires me to listen deeper and trust more fully.

What’s meant for me will meet me in the right timing.
