At the Belfield Theater for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026, the American Legion William C. Blair, Post 144 gave an honorable tribute to fallen Veterans. Bill Palanuk delivered a touching keynote speech, and more than 100 people turned up to recognize the sacrifices of Southwest North Dakota servicemen and servicewomen who never were able to come home.
