Joe James was a dedicated friend and colleague. Despite totaling his car that morning on his way to set, he still made it - with the help of James - and was full of energy as always. He reveled in the idea that one of the shots involved slamming on the brakes of a car and that he would be doing the driving.

This was taken after a long day of shooting. We were all exhauated but he found a way to make us all smile.

I'll miss Joe James. Love to Julie.
