Life has been having a way to divert my attention to things that have needed repaired or done. The latest was my dryer. My youngest daughter was washing all of her clothes and bedding when it suddenly stopped. Nothing worked. I decided to try and repair it and thought maybe it was the thermal fuse. It was a $5 part. I ordered it and when I got it replaced, the old one still had continuity so I knew that wasn't it. I started testing the switch and timer and everything seemed fine. That's when my youngest showed up and encouraged me to tear the dryer apart even more. She discovered the belt was snapped in two. She and I did a lot of Google searches as we couldn't find the part number for the one I needed. We measured the old one and eventually found one that was the same size. This last weekend my boyfriend helped to get it on and now it works again. My dryer had a safety sensor that when the belt snapped it tripped the safety so nothing worked. I have had what seems like problems after problems. Some how, some way, things have worked out. I am blessed and grateful for each positive outcome. I tend to not post much on this page when life is lifeing as it is more for reselling. If I am not actively listing items daily then I feel I shouldn't post. I am an over thinker. I over think things way too much and will convince myself to just stay "quiet and hidden." So today I decided to just post, no matter what the content, good or bad, just post. I did get my middle daughter's car sold today. It had several issues but still always started up and ran good. It is now on its way to a new home! I am thankful for the small positives as there is just too much negative going on in the world.
