The Greek Word "Sozo" is translated in English as Salvation, and it includes "healing" in its meaning.

From the Old Testament (Psalm 103:3 " Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;") to JESUS' fulfillment in the New Testament (Matthew 1:21. "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins."), GOD shows that He Saves AND Heals (Matthew 9:6. "But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.").

This is even true for Nations. 2 Chronicles 7:14 ("If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.").

As long as the earth remains, we'll have seasons for sowing and seasons for reaping (Genesis 8:22), but all these times work together for our ultimate good (Romans 8:28). The Holy Spirit joins us in our prayers (Romans 8:26), and helps us say, "Hallelujah!" through all seasons.

On Sunday May14, 2023, Pastor Jessica Alexander preached that there's a Beauty in Waiting and a Joy in Anticipating what GOD has promised us. Today, I celebrate the Life of Marian James, my Grandmother. She was born May 9, 1920. To many, she was an Artist, Musician, and Minister. To me, she was an example of Love, Wisdom and Blessing.
