Good Wednesday morning. It’s a decent morning across the region, with temperatures in the upper 50s to 60s inland and low 70s along the coast. Today will be sunny, with highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s this afternoon.

Isolated to scattered showers are expected on Friday and into Saturday as a frontal boundary moves in. Rainfall totals are likely to be light, with some isolated areas possibly up to an inch. Any rain is better than none at this point.

Effective October 14, almost 60% of the state now is in a burn ban with nearly all of Southeast Texas now included. Unfortunately, more counties will likely issue burn bans soon as limited moisture is expected for the next week with only a chance of showers and storms expected over the weekend.

The next couple mornings should be pretty cool once again with lows near 60. On Thursday, winds will begin returning off the Gulf bringing in more moisture content and bringing up our morning lows. A decent chance of rain is also anticipated on Saturday as a cold front moves into the region. Lows Monday morning will likely be in the upper 50s for many areas with mid to even low 50s possible in our northern regions! Otherwise, highs will generally be in the mid to upper 80s across the area.

Dry air continues to dominate the region here in Texas and Louisiana. However, by this weekend, we expect the high-pressure ridge to weaken and move out, allowing moisture levels to rise and bringing some rain chances this Friday and into the weekend. While rainfall totals look low, it's still better than nothing!

Good Tuesday morning! It's another pleasant morning across the region, with temperatures in the upper 50s in the northern areas, into the low 60s further south and in the low 70s along the coast. Today is expected to be nice and sunny again, with high temperatures this afternoon climbing into the upper 80s to low 90s.

Isolated to scattered showers are still possible on Friday and into the weekend, but so far rainfall totals are looking low.
