📊 Trucking Industry Trends: April 5-11, 2021 📊

West Coast port container import volumes increased by 69% year-over-year in March, breaking a 110-year-old record. March is typically one of the slowest months on the container import calendar, but with e-commerce retail sales accelerating and inventories low, higher freight volumes for truckload carriers in port markets are set to continue. In Los Angeles, the largest port in the country, capacity remains tight following the fourth week of spot rate increases in a row.

General Mills saw a huge spike in demand once the COVID-19 pandemic hit. As a food provider for both retailers/consumers and the industrial market, General Mills not only saw demand increase overall, but also a shift as restaurants closed and more people began working from home. You should have a teaser level to your load board without the broker and phone number listed for people thinking about taking the plunge into self dispatch or getting their own authority. Access to the live load board would really make the choice easier if a person could see what loads look like on a day to day basis in the areas they want to be in.
Do not pick up any loads from this company! They will not pay you! My father picked up a load for this company and delivered it. They told him they would pay him & they did not!!!! Frauds! I kept calling these ppl and people w middle eastern accents kept answering the phone acting like they would take me information then hang up in my face. So we would call from different numbers and they would answer and hang up. There will be a way I’m going to make sure they are removed from the truck industry for fraud
