Issue 55 is now packed and ready to ship! With the help of local volunteers from Allegheny Valley Mennonite Church in Schellsburg, PA, we packaged around 62,000 magazines for shipment to prisons across the country.

Please pray for the thousands of prison inmates who will be perusing this issue of Loaves & Fishes in the coming weeks.

Issue 55 has arrived at our warehouse! Randy, the truck driver who delivered our shipment today, told me that served time in Virginia, being released in 2016. Books like Loaves & Fishes helped him make it through his 18-year sentence, he said. "I'm part of the 1% who don't go back!" What a great way to inspire our work today!

We are excited to announce that Loaves & Fishes magazines are now available on PandoApp in prisons!

"Pando is a revolutionary new app that makes it possible for people to engage with their faith and improve their mental health in a whole new way. Our FREE app delivers some of the best faith-based messages, devotionals, podcasts, and other leadership content directly into the hands of people all over the country, both inside and outside prison."

Issues 53 and 54 are currently on the app, which is accessible on certain tablet platforms used in US prisons by hundreds of thousands of inmates. If you work in a prison that has PandoApp available on tablets, we would love to have you spread the word!

Here's the cover for issue 54! It is on order from the printer, is fully funded, and will ship out to our readers within a few weeks.

We are also happy to report that the content for issue 55 is nearly complete, and because of recent funding, our next issue is about 50% funded as well. Thank you so much to our donors for bringing this blessing to nearly 70,000 prison inmates across the country.

Thanks to our supporters for blessing thousands of Christian believers in US prisons in 2024. We are looking forward to another year of serving those who desire to grow in their faith.

We also remember those who have given to Lighthouse in other ways. In our most recent newsletter, we remember Pastor Jimmy, and all that he did for us and for thousands of prison inmates during his time of service at Lighthouse Publishing.

Issue 53 is in the wild! We appreciated the group of volunteers from Rehrersburg Mennonite Church in Bethel, PA who helped us process the bulk packages last week. The shipment was delivered to the USPS on Monday, and the single copy pre-sort mailing went out today.

This mailing included 68,616 magazines sent in bulk, and 1,651 single copies. This project cost $30,953.71 to print and ship, for an average cost of 40 cents per magazine.

Issue 53 arrived today! We plan to pack the shipment this week and deliver it to the USPS on Monday.

We are readying Loaves & Fishes #53, our third issue of the year, for print! The theme of this issue is Christian Discipleship. We will discuss what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, and the idea of helping others to become followers as well.

To meet our goal of shipping this issue around the end of September, we expect a total project cost of around $30,000.
