Quick action by Bedford Police officers early this morning led to the recovery of stolen property and the arrest of two suspects.

At approximately 2 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of L. Don Dodson Drive after receiving a report of a theft in progress involving tires and wheels. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Airport Freeway.

During the investigation, officers recovered several stolen tires and wheels and arrested two individuals in connection with the theft. Both victims were identified, and their property will be returned.

The suspects were transported to jail and are awaiting arraignment.

Great work by our officers in responding quickly, locating the suspects, and helping return stolen property to its rightful owners.
