We are hiring! Part-Time Marketing Assistant (Creative Track)
Local to Bellefonte/State College | Room to grow to full-time
SALT Digital Marketing is looking for a creative, reliable marketing assistant to help us execute social media marketing for local small businesses and support SALT’s internal social media.
What you’ll help with (core):
•Content creation support (graphics in Canva, content building, repurposing across platforms)
•Assisting with content capture/creation as needed (client shoots + behind-the-scenes for SALT)
•Photo/video editing (light edits, cropping, basic enhancements; short-form editing a plus)
•Caption drafting (paired with the content you create)
•Scheduling/publishing support + basic QA (accuracy + on-time posting)
•Community management (public engagement + comment responses using guidelines)
•Light analytics/reporting prep (owner reviews before anything goes to clients)
•Organizing client assets (photos/video/files) so content is easy to find and reuse
•Light admin/project support as needed (organizing files, keeping tasks moving, supporting internal workflows)
Requirements:
•Canva skills (portfolio/work samples)
•Strong attention to detail + ability to follow brand direction
•Organized, deadline-driven, and dependable
•Must have access to a reliable computer + smartphone
(software/tools provided; additional capture equipment like a camera/extra phone can be accommodated as needed)
This role will evolve as experience and trust are built, and may include additional responsibilities as needed.
