As we get a break from winter, many people will want to get an early start on their spring cleanup chores. Don't forget to call for a burn permit if you will be burning brush, leaves and yard waste (no tires, shingles or processed lumber). Michigan law prohibits the burning of such items and doing so may result in fines from the Michigan DNR. We keep record of open burning to cut down on the amount of false alarms and unwanted fire run bills. Burn permits from Bellevue Community FD are free and good for up to 4 consecutive days and can be extended if needed. For further information or to obtain a permit please call:

Mark Jordan (517) 719-0861
Jacob Jackson (269) 487-5695
