The task: find an item or items within a roughly $20 budget that you find to be epic thrifting/antique finds.

| Winter Exhibitions at the Whatcom Museum

There are so many incredible exhibitions on display this season at Whatcom Museum, and Mary Ann Peters' 'myself inside your story' is no exception.

"An artist and activist for five decades, Mary Ann Peters’ drawings, paintings, and sculptural installations address the incomplete histories of the Middle East. A second-generation Lebanese American woman, Peters is simultaneously connected to and distanced from a family homeland known to her through generations of stories, photographs, and lived experiences, as well as her travels abroad, and – like many of us – from news sources. As the title of the exhibition hints, Peters makes reference to histories that are not her story, but are, by heritage, a connection to documented cultural records tied to the Middle East." - Whatcom Museum

This exhibition is available to view at the Lightcatcher now until the end of January, so get downtown to see it for yourself!

Massive thank you to the Whatcom Museum for partnering with us on this feature of the winter exhibitions.

| Gruff Brewing 🍻

Downtown has no shortage of breweries that contribute to Bellingham's beer scene and Gruff is one that brings the BHAM funk and good vibes to our community.

With a wide range of beer and house-made cocktails alongside a menu of delicious sandwiches and burgers, Gruff is one of BHAM's standout funky breweries here in town. This 21+ brewery has become a staple for many, and is an exceptional stop when. hopping your way around town to enjoy Bellingham's beer.

During this visit from the fall, we enjoyed a few beverages and hung outside in their beer garden to sip and soak up the sun. Excited to go back and enjoy some food the next time around!
