“I don’t even know where to begin with this story. For starters nobody deserves it more than my wife Christen. Not only does she have to put up with myself but she sat 25 times for this buck and had so many close encounters during bow season. At one point she had him bedded at 15 yards with a donut was never presented a shot. Ultimately having great access in and out of the blind allowed her to hunt it over and over without disrupting the flow of movement. With the blind overlooking an acre of pure trophy clover, we were confident as long as there was food left we would eventually get a shot. The buck remained consistent feeding in the plot most evenings shortly after dark. With the mental game starting to take effect I could see she was nearing the end. After grinding it out all season long you can imagine her disbelief when I “whispered” BIG BUCK! With him already at 30 yards we made haste and it wasn’t long after the smoke cleared we were climbing down to go get a look at this incredible animal. What a season it has been!

Praise the Lord for a filled freezer and countless memories.”

How Lowball met his match.

One of the best ways to utilize Plot Screen in your hunting strategy is to plant along a bedding area to block the view to and from the plot. A strip planted along the edges can both hide your movements and also force deer to move into the field to see. Bucks cruising for does can't stay hidden in the woods, out of sight and out of range.

In this clip we see how Eric's setup worked perfectly to catch up with Lowball late in the season. Soybeans over seeded with Big n Beasty was the draw, and Plot Screen provided the setting needed to get Lowball into the open.
