Korbyn Shaw Welcome! I'm a backcountry snowmobiler from Bend, OR. I am using this platform to share sled content and engage with other riders.

Follow along for snow adventures! I have been on motorized vehicles before my earliest memory. I was born and raised in Bend, Oregon - a community that prides itself on outdoor recreation. I studied welding and machining after high school and currently work in the field as a Manufacturing Engineer. I spend my weekends riding snowmobiles and dirt bikes, I camp, hunt, fish and I'm always looking to get out in the woods!

Easy install of the Trail Tech Voyager Pro GPS on my Polaris Snowmobiles Matryx 850. This gps mates with the Polaris ride command buddy tracking system. Excited to have maps and tracking in the dash of my sled!

What do you think? Yes, snowmobiling costs money but it doesn’t have to be as much as they say!
New machines and gear are cool luxuries but not necessary to enjoy the sport of snowmobiling.
Renting is a great way to have fun while avoiding costs of ownership.
Used gear can save you big $$$.
You don’t need to buy a $10-20k sled to have a great time, even if they are more user friendly.

I was selected for a new program from the American Council of Snowmobile Associations called the Next Gen National Riders as the mountain region ambassador for the ‘25/‘26 season. I will be attending a few ACSA events, helping spread awareness of the program, and creating social media posts. I’ll be sharing more about this in the near future!
