Jill Magazine has been invited to an important women's conference, and we'd love to take along a little gift for attendees!
Yes, it's true - Jill Magazine caught the eye of some feminist organizers in North America, and we are honoured to have received an invitation to participate in a weekend of networking, dreaming, and celebrating with other women.
As this conference is only for women (adult human females), which as we all know seems once again to be a controversial issue, we can't disclose details about the location or the organizers, but we can tell you that each of the 80 attendees has been personally vetted by the organizers, so that that the women in attendance will be assured freedom and safety.
While it's not a requirement of attendance to be a le***an, most of the 80 feminists who will be in attendance are just that, and we would love to share the gift of Jill Magazine with these women, if possible. More specifically, we would like to put together a small "sampler" of Jill Magazine in digest format (5.5 x 8.5), featuring the best of both issues 1 and 2. We'll also include an invitation to join our volunteer board and/or otherwise contribute to the magazine. AND, we're throwing in a one-page teaser with some wonderful photos, taken in Mexico this past winter, of a new le***an friend the editors met while volunteering at a school there!
Jill Magazine was described by the organizers of this conference as "a radical act of feminism" and "a refreshing pool in the desert", and we'd love to share this oasis with women who may not yet have heard of us. Will you help us spread this "radical" publication that celebrates and centers adult human females?
Our ask today is very focused: Will you help us print this Jill sampler/mini digest to share with Canadian, US and Mexican women at the conference next month? We’ll do the layout and editing, but we need your financial support.
We are looking for ONE donor to donate $500, or TWO donors to donate $250 each. This will cover the cost of printing and shipping for enough digests so that each woman in attendance at next month’s conference gets one to enjoy and share with her contacts back home, regardless of her financial situation.
If you donate $500, we'll send you 5 copies of this digest for you to share with sisters and strangers (leave a few in a nearby LFL on on a table at the local coffee shop!), and we'll also record your name and send you a FREE copy of Jill #3 once it's released. If you donate $250, we'll send you 3 copies of the digest.
