Fact check: U.S. Postal Service will deliver mail ballots even with insufficient postage

Voting by mail is safe and trustworthy. The Commuter will go over the details of voting by mail in the Lehigh Valley in our September issue.

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-two-stamps-ballots/fact-check-us-postal-service-will-deliver-mail-ballots-even-with-insufficient-postage-idUSKCN2571X3

A claim on social media warns voters that two stamps are needed for mail ballots, misleadingly implying that those with insufficient postage would not be delivered to election officials in the upcoming presidential vote. This is inaccurate.

The worst is yet to come (Part 3): Is this the right time for in-person instruction in colleges? - The Commuter

The Commuter decided that merely reporting the details of NCC's fall semester reopening plan would be an example of the facts not equaling the truth. Instead, we have decided to focus on why reopening is dangerous, even with every possible precaution being taken. If you want to be safe, take your classes online this fall - doing so will also reduce the amount of people on campus, for the safety of professors and staff, who have no choice but to go to work. This is an example of when the truth can only be told by compassion, guided by the thorough research of associate-editor of The Commuter and author of this article, Jesus Zaldivar.
