At Just A Kid & Some Snacks, we believe every child deserves the chance to simply be a kid.

To celebrate.
To laugh.
To enjoy a special meal.
To open a gift.
To make memories.
And yes… to snack along the way. 🍪❤️

Our goal is to support children and families experiencing hardship by providing practical assistance, seasonal support, food, gifts, and opportunities that help make difficult seasons a little easier.

Because sometimes it isn't about how big the help is.

Sometimes it's a meal.
Sometimes it's a toy.
Sometimes it's a Christmas gift.
Sometimes it's someone simply saying, “We've got you.”

That's the kind of community we're working to build.

Christmas may still feel a little ways away, but here at Just A Kid & Some Snacks, the planning has already begun!

Our Christmas Assistance Program is preparing to help local families experiencing financial hardship by providing FREE Christmas gifts for children. 🎁
Every year, this program comes together because of our amazing community of:

❤️ Christmas Angels
🙋‍♀️ Volunteers
🧸 Toy-drive hosts
💝 Community supporters

Last year, we were blessed to help 100 families, and we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact this year!

We talk a lot about donations, volunteers, Christmas assistance, food, and helping families—but at the heart of Just A Kid & Some Snacks is one simple thing:

We are incredibly excited to announce Tracis Learning Center as our very first small business partner and official host location for 2026! For 23 years Traci has served families in South Allentown providing quality child care for children (ages 6 weeks - 5th grade) !

More host locations are registering this week, and we will publish the full list here as soon as they are locked in!

🎅📬 DID YOU KNOW? — USPS OPERATION SANTA IS BACK! 🎄✨

It’s time to get those letters to Santa ready! ❤️

Starting September 14, 2026

Through USPS Operation Santa®, children and families across the country can write a letter to Santa and send it to the North Pole. Some letters are then shared online — with personal information removed — so generous people can adopt letters and help make holiday wishes come true. 🎁❤️

📮 HOW TO SEND YOUR LETTER:

🎅 Address it to:
Santa
123 Elf Road
North Pole, 88888

✉️ Put a First-Class stamp on the envelope.

🏠 Include your full name and return address, including your apartment number if applicable. USPS also recommends putting your return address on the letter itself.

📝 Be specific about your wishes! Include gift names, sizes, colors, favorite books or games, etc.

📅 2026 DEADLINE:
Letters must be postmarked by December 5, 2026.

✨ IMPORTANT: Sending a letter does NOT guarantee that it will be posted, adopted, or that a gift will be received. The program depends on the generosity of Santa's helpers across the country. ❤️

And remember — you don't have to be a school aged child to write to Santa! USPS allows parents, guardians, teachers and caregivers to help younger children write their letters. 🎄

🎁 Want to become one of Santa's helpers? Letter adoption opens November 16, 2026, and verified adopters can choose letters to fulfill through the USPS Operation Santa website.

❤️ To the Parents Who Are Doing the Most Right Now

Just a gentle reminder: If you managed to feed the kids today, keep everyone relatively clothed, and didn’t lose your mind when someone asked for a snack for the 47th time in an hour—you are absolutely winning. 🏆

Let’s be real for a second. Raising a family is hard work, and when you are trying to stretch every single dollar to make ends meet, the pressure can feel overwhelming. Some days are just survival days, and that is completely okay. Your worth as a parent isn't measured by a perfect budget or a spotless house. It’s measured by the love you pour into your kids every day (even when they're testing every single boundary you have).

If things feel heavy right now, take a deep breath. You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry the weight of the world entirely on your shoulders. It is okay to ask for a helping hand, and it is okay to lean on your community.

Give yourself some grace today. You are doing a wonderful job, even on the days it doesn't feel like it. 🌟

The waitlist for our Just a Kid & Some Snacks Christmas Assistance Program is filling up incredibly fast! We want to make sure we can bring joy to as many families facing financial hardship as possible this holiday season.

⚠️ Important Funding Notice: To ensure we can fully support every child we take on, we will be pausing the waitlist after every 100 children registered. This allows our team to take a momentary pause, evaluate our available funding, and make sure we have the resources needed before opening up the next batch of spots.
