Years ago, I was a publishing snob. I had worked as an editor for authors who were published by St. Martin’s Press, Scholastic, and Simon & Schuster. The idea of self-publishing was still a no-no, but then I took the leap to not only work with indie authors, but via my alter ego, Mia Fox, I became one, too.
