I feel really passionate about this because I meet so many Christians who believe in God but rarely open the Bible—and that genuinely baffles me.
This is the best-selling book of all time. People throughout history have risked everything to preserve, translate, and share it. Yet so many of us have unlimited access to it and let it collect dust.
So many people say, “I just want God to speak to me,” while ignoring pages filled with words He has already spoken.
Maybe the wisdom you’re praying for is sitting in a book you haven’t opened.
The Bible teaches us how to love, forgive, lead, work, steward money, control our thoughts, choose relationships, endure suffering, fast, pray, build character, and live with purpose. So much of what modern self-help teaches echoes principles Scripture has taught for centuries.
People sometimes use the phrase BIBLE: “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.” That’s not the actual origin of the word “Bible,” but the phrase makes a powerful point: Scripture gives us instructions for how to live.
A Bible sitting on your shelf cannot transform a life you refuse to let it speak into.
Open it. Read it. Study it. Apply it.
The Bible isn’t just information. It’s transformation.
