I completely understand that aging can bring a lot of complicated feelings. You may mourn what once was, grieve what could have been, or simply wish you could turn back the clock. And honestly, there are certainly a few things I wouldn’t mind reversing: these creaky knees, my aging eyesight… you get the idea 😂

But when I look at the bigger picture, I can’t help but see growing older as a privilege.

I wouldn’t trade this age for the world. I’m older, but I’m wiser. I know myself better. I know what matters to me. I’ve learned to let go of things that once consumed me and appreciate the life right in front of me.

I genuinely love this version of myself and this chapter of my life.

So yes, I am soooooooooooooooooo grateful to grow older 🤍

When you’ve experienced God’s goodness, there comes a point where keeping it quiet just isn’t an option. I don’t praise because everything in my life is perfect. I praise because even in the hard seasons, I know who has carried me through.

My faith isn’t something I want to keep quiet or make smaller to make other people comfortable. It’s the foundation of who I am.

So yes, I’ll praise loudly. I’ll praise freely, and I encourage you to join me! 🙏🥰

Making my husband’s favorite breakfast! It has become one of our healthy treats around here 🍌

Unsweetened vanilla Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon, sautéed bananas, pecans, and a little dark chocolate. Simple ingredients, lots of flavor, and about 400 calories with 20g of protein.

The sautéed cinnamon-honey bananas over the melty chocolate? So good.

You can easily swap the pecans for walnuts, skip the chocolate, or add whatever toppings you love. It’s one of those breakfasts that feels indulgent but still gives you a good amount of protein to start your day.
