We’re not in this business just to make movies, we’re here because we love them. We thrive on cheering for fellow filmmakers and celebrating their successes.

Had the pleasure of attending a special screening of The Bad Guys 2 at AMC The Grove today, courtesy of DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures, with a packed post-screening panel hosted by ASIFA-Hollywood.

Insightful, funny, and refreshingly candid, this team really pulled the curtain back on how the sequel evolved and how character, color, and movement play a huge role in emotional storytelling. As someone who’s understands animation production, I appreciated how collaborative the process truly is.

Looking forward to seeing how audiences respond. These “Bad Guys” might just pull off another major score.

It is with profound sadness that we reflect on the loss of Ozzy Osbourne (1948–2025), the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath whose sound shaped heavy metal and rock music. Ozzy's final, heartfelt reunion with Sabbath at Villa Park was a fitting bookend to a career defined by raw power and authenticity.
Beyond his iconic voice, Ozzy's battle with Parkinson’s disease and decades-long run as a solo artist, plus the cultural impact of The Osbournes, showed an artist who evolved yet always stayed true to himself.
As filmmakers and storytellers, we recognize and honor the artistry, risk, and authenticity he brought to his stage and screen. His legacy reminds us of the power of staying real, no matter the stage.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Malcolm‑Jamal Warner (August 18, 1970 – July 20, 2025), a gifted actor, musician, and storyteller whose career began as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show and evolved into roles in Malcolm & Eddie, The Resident, American Crime Story, and more. He also earned a Grammy and hosted the podcast Not All Hood.

His work exemplified authenticity, heart, and versatility, qualities we deeply admire in the filmmakers we strive to celebrate. Malcolm-Jamal’s sudden passing during a family vacation is a loss felt by all of us in the independent and commercial creative communities.

Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues, and fans. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world, for the screen, for your music, and for your voice. You’ll be remembered.

We got some blood on Getty Images. Young Artist Academy Award Nominee Ryker was shot on the red carpet. His attendance, and interviews during the pre show events puts a bright spotlight on our over all production. As a character in Immortal Thieves - The Bloody Heist, Ryker plays twins ‘Young Lucky’ and ‘Not Lucky’. Setting the back story of the main character’s determination to save his other brother at all costs.
