One of the most effective ways to enter the flow state and get stuff done is to have the right atmosphere to do so. It can be done just about anywhere, but the goal is to make it as easy as possible for you. Having a private space where you can knock out some work for a few hours each day really can make a difference. Your space should have some things in it that remind you of your vision and purpose. Make this space all about your dreams. Not too much, as it can become an excuse for distraction as you sit there and dream. Just enough that when you feel tired and pull your eyes off the screen, the first things you see are your reminders. A quiet space is ideal. I noticed that getting a shower and dressing up before going into my focus zone has really helped with performance. It is really important to separate yourself from your work when you are out of that time block, and clothing can be key to this. If you have ADHD like me and don't want to be drugged up by a doctor, then try a big cup of dark black coffee about 30 minutes after you wake up. It will occupy your brain a little so you don't bounce around as much. It also works as a reward trigger for days you work. So don't drink coffee unless you plan to have a productive day, or else you are literally rewarding the wrong behaviors. I'm a little hard-core as I don't eat or drink sugar much less anything else but for the most part, save any sort of healthy dopamine-spiking rewarder for the right times, like after completing a hard day of work.
