Woke up at 430am yesterday
Worked and didn't back to Billings til 430pm
Friend asked to go to Cooney to mess around, I went.
Had steak at the lake

The algae was horrible so didn't spend time in the water (Warnings everywhere of Blue/Green algae) and had a steak when usually I would just want to lay around and drink after work but sobriety has given me more energy after work and the ambition to do things like this...

Went to Glacier again and had a blast! Started on the east side on Going to the sun road and was reminded why it's one of the most magical highways in America. Went ALL the way around the park to the NW corner at Kintla Lake. AMAZING lake to paddle board cuz it gets deep FAST and has a maximum depth of 290ft, impressive for the size of lake. The different colored rocks were soo hard not to bring home lmao (Don't worry I didn't take any) I've never had that trip where I wasn't just getting wasted at the campsite. It was like a whole new place!!!

First off, a congratulations is in order 👏👏👏 but another request. What are some ways that you guy's use to take your mind away from the bottle? I stay active, "running from my demons" so to speak 🤣🤣

Granite Ghost Town State Park

Sobriety doesn’t mean you have to take life so seriously all the time. Being goofy, making people laugh, and being able to laugh at yourself can be a powerful part of the journey. Sometimes, life gets tough and humor can remind you that one mistake, or one bad day, or one awkward moment doesn’t define who you are. Learning to laugh at yourself can also take away some of the pressure to be perfect and help you accept yourself.
